How ironic that you just said that ...
Qilong on 04/27/2012, 02:09 PMknoxxer on 04/27/2012, 02:05 PMWe worked hard to get these hair changes in but we just couldn't get them before the early character creation.
We have an idea to help those of you in need of a change. Details are coming soon (like today soon).
Sadly, people will use this to say that you capitulated to their whining. /shakes head
Seems like you're the only one.

I think it's more along the lines of people asking for something and En Masse being kind enough to provide it. There's a huge difference between making a request and WHINING about something.

Quilong, cheer up! This is a time for celebration! Doesn't it make you happy knowing how great the support is behind this game?

No he's too afraid of WoW. Every new feature added to the game or support from the company makes it more like WoW every day. Better watch out Qilong! Some day we might get Orcs as a playable race! OH NOES THE HORROR!

You seem to think that EME wasn't already working on this, or had planned it. That they would not have considered that people would have wanted to have their toons' hair recolored in light of the changes. You seem to think that the complaints made caused them to cave to some predisposed opposition to the idea, thus justifying the complaining.
Even regardless of the possibility that EME actually did not consider people would want to change the colors of their toons' hair, do you think that in the time from announcement to, say, any time today, they would be able to install modifications to the game code to permit people to backtrack design, or install a barbershop, or whatever? A one-use prismatic perma-dye dumped into everyone's inventory that changes their hair color?
Or does it make more plausible sense that they had already planned on this strategy, thus making the first eleven pages of complaining -- and attempts to mollify these complaints, and even some authentic concerns -- completely pointless?
"I complained, there was a result, therefore my complaint caused that result."
Fallacy of epic proportions.

I never assumed anything nor stated they weren't already working on anything. Fun when you write out several paragraphs of dribble that amounts to nothing isn't it? You've been the one saying people should reroll characters. Does that mean you assume they weren't working on something?
Give me a break. So full of hot air it's not even funny.
