I was assuming this guy rewards you with a mount when completeling his quests. I just turned in a Cowl Harness 3500 rep tokens which took me close to 3500 kills to get and all I got was a quest completed message.
What went wrong? What is this NPC for other than epic trolling?
AFAIK you have to complete all quests for that NPC to unlock the sabertooth mount, as seen next to him. Could be wrong though.
I had heard that too, but then at the end of farming out Valeskyr Hunt rep for my crown, I bought the same item and turned it in for nothing, just like you did.
I wont be doing another quest for him for a long time, as other factions(Shariar) has much more useful items for faction currency than a silly item for a mount.
Your must be right the quest text is confusing because in the quests it refers to the mount as Leopard or nothing at all and standing next to the npc is the mount and its named Sable Sabertooth.
The quest texts refer to the mount by different names. So its easy to be mistaken and think that its different mounts per quest. So anyone else reading this don't waste your time killing 3500 mobs for rep credits, unless you plan on doing dailys for the other factions every day for three months straight because you cant kill mobs for rep with the other factions.
Still worth it to farm out other factions - they offer slotted accessories and zyrks. Not to mention the hats.
