I would like to take this opportunity to express a hearty 'Thankyou" to En Masse Entertainment, for whilst I had never heard of you before this game, you have shown to be a true developer of an AAA rated MMO. I understand it was Korean first, but with the monumental task of translating and re-coding for a western audience, it may as well be your own. You have made it your own. I dont think it is appreciated enough just what a massive task it would be to undertake, and undertake it you did.

I remmeber when it was first announced, all those years ago (back in 07/08 wasnt it?) and slowly a website formed and the years came and went. You have done an amazing job with this game, it is not only innovative, but it shows that a game can look this good and still run as smooth as silk. You have a fantastic set of programmers and artists on hand and I for one will look forward to playing this game for years to come and devour all the sumptious content you produce.

So, on behalf of the TERA community, now that the day is finally upon us, lets take the time to reflect and realise just what sort of accomplishment En Masse have really achieved.

So, from the heart, "Thankyou". You have produced a piece of fine art, one that we will all enjoy for many years.

I see at least one person is over zealous with expectation.

The cons in getting over excited about something, and building up a vision of expectation, is it almost always does not turn out like you hoped.

I too heard about this game a long time ago. I stopped following games in their infant stages on their forums and the like several years ago, because of this very reason.

I guess what I should be saying is why don't you take a step back and see how it all actually turns out first?

I followed TERA for the last two years and after playing the hell out of the CBTs, I must say that the game has actually met my (realistic) expectations. Most games fail horribly in this endeavor. Especially MMOs.


TERA does not fail. It meets realistic expectations of a AAA, quality MMO with the company actually paying attention to the whinings of the player base.
