One thing that I would suggest, though it might be a bit too complex (and open to abuse) - if someone bails on a group early, a popup window appears where you can choose if they left for a 'good' or 'bad' reason, and if 3/4 of the remaining group members pick 'bad' then the person who left gets an extra debuff, double or tripling (or more, if it stacks as some people suggest) the wait time to re-queue.

I feel your pain. I was in the same spot and got pissed and rolled a Lancer. Myself, I do not leave. Good group, bad groud, suck as dps or heals I stay. I view it as a learning curve for everyone including myself. Just wish more felt the same way and we would all have a better experiance in Tera.

And when Warriors can que as tanks to get insta join, they can be douches too.

And if Lancers become unplayable with the QoA2 patch (meaning if Warriors become a overall better tank), the Lancers you disliked will simply change to playing Warriors, and that changes nothing for you. Good job. I guess we will be expecting some more of these threads that deride the small populous of Lancers that do play, but instead change it to Warrior.

Also I'm pretty sure there is a thread for this one or two pages down, why do people feel the need to constantly ramble the same thing over and over?

The difference here is that lancer pool vs. warrior pool is like a kiddie pool vs. an Olympic sized pool. Queue times will still be much, much faster.

Except... there are a metric [filtered]-ton more warriors than lancers? So even if all those lancers reroll, so what? The problem will solve itself, at least partially, due to the sheer volume of tanks, compared to how it's at now.

If you have nothing to say except something mostly irrelevant and negative, why do you bother posting? If you are a lancer, and not a douche, this doesn't apply to you. If you are one of those people that regularly leaves, I hope you get used to being special, and your heart breaks on QotA part two release.

I love tanking as a lancer in these dungeons with the instance queuing system due to the timer being so deliciously quick for me. Was the same thing for me in WoW as a Prot paladin tank. Never spent more than 10 seconds in Que due to there not being many tanks.

Also, you cannot fault a tank for leaving a match up he joined if said tank see's something unfavorable in the party. Also need to factor in the whole, 'I did not realize how much time I had left, so I left and went to sleep/eat/ect.' Just because the tank is harder to find, does not mean they should get penalized more for being a tank than a player that is not a tank. That is just discrimination against certain classes.

I think the tittle is misleading
"I would suggest stacking their "leave" timers. Leave once 15mins, leave again 45mins etc. (it should not reset for the entire day or WEEK!) Or Another means of punishment, so they are not allowed to do this BS!

You spend 30mins in a queue timer, and then your stuck with 4 other people re-queuing for another 30mins, and we all know no one sticks around for that. Forcing people to leave and get 15min dungeon block timers."
That is the suggestion most people agree with, it mentions nothing of class such "they" which i believe refers to leavers.

except what you dont realize is that warriors know they will always get into a group with at least one other leather wearer...lancers have a pretty high chance of not getting a berserker in their group.... when i queue as a dps... i always have at least one other with me... and if i were queueing as a tank, i have a high chance of seeing at least 2 other leathers.
