Hi guys, thanks for look and read.

I Want to buy a new rig just to play tera, and the normal stuff (web browsing, play 3d movies, maybe some game in 3d). Im using a Alienware m11x with dual core, and the game is killing my cpu and gpu badly.

So if u can input ur actual rig, and how much u pay for it it would help.
I want to spend around 600-800 USD max, i just need: CPU, GPU, MOBO and RAM.

I was looking in newegg the amd fx-8120 looks like a pretty good option for 190 usd, but maybe a cheaper option?

Thanks.

Avoid AMD CPU's tbh, they are years behind intel.

For your budget, you can get either the i5 2500k if you want the cheaper version, or go for the i7 2600k if you want a bit more, but should still fit your budget.

Use this as a rough guide to see where CPU/GPU's lie performance wise, so you can weigh it against cost.

I think GTX 560 ti and above are good for GPU solution

For RAM, GSkill/Corsair 1600mhz/higher 6GB.

For motherboard, I like Gigabyte personally, but with mobo's it depends on what you need - connectivity/PCI wise etc.

Galaxy 57NKH3HS4GXK GeForce GTX 570 330usd
COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power RS600-PCARE3-US 600W 70usd
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 60usd
GIGABYTE GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI 120 usd
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) 225 usd

For a total 840 usd with shipping.

a lil more expensive, 6gb of ram better than 8gb ? and gtx 570 is like 80usd more expensive than the gtx 560, really worth it?

Thanks!!

6GB/8GB you won't really notice difference for gaming - but ram is cheap nowadays so up to you..

570 not a huge upgrade, but up to you.

and in VGA 2gb vs 1gb in ram is better? because the gtx560 have 2gb of ram and the gtx570 only 1 gb.

Thanks for helping me :D

More ram is better for like dual monitor setups or very large screen - if you ever do it in future, otherwise not a big difference on single monitor display.

And no problem ^^
