I don't know how it is on other servers but it's exactly how I thought it would be on Jagged Coast. Zerg guilds ally zerg guilds ally zerg guilds and all vote for each other.. i knew it would be this way.

That's why most small guilds may eventually join into zerg guilds lol.

So per continent, one guild based on it's size is guaranteed first pick of 19 provinces, and the others carry on as normal. And nothing happens..

It's a good thing voting only lasts for one day!
...
Oh, wait, it doesn't.
Just like in politics, you may run smear campaigns -- plus there should be a way to either not lock in your vote immediately, or "unvote" until later. This allows a "voting day" to be true.
When you are prompted to vote, you are not "locked in," but given a temporary vote. If, by the last day of voting, you have not changed your vote, it becomes locked in. You may before this, at any time, "unvote" and "revote." This allows you to play politics with your vote, and puts it into play throughout the process -- especially since campaigning for votes didn't START (it seems) until this week.

yeah, seriously, let us pvp for vanarch, on PVP servers... we arent all zerging carebears, and some of the 5man guilds on VoT are far more skilled than some of these zergs
we were told you could win vanarchy with pvp as well as voting, it actually says it on the back of the games box
so where is it

I feel a bit misled by this voting. I thought we'd get to vote for half the regions, abd the other regions were fought for. With this current system, doesn't even seem possible.

well lowbei, that kinda require battlegrounds... which we kinda don't have
