im not arguing in favor of paying more money for things... but these are VANITY items... if you dont want em... dont buy em... the ppl who want them will buy them... you pay for your subscription... which allows you to play the game... dont expect to get extra. when you pay to get into a theme park, you expect to have to pay for food... this is the same way.

Not these bad analogies D= sorry... but when you start comparing "physical" goods vs "digital" goods... Big difference, if you want a good one use the same everyone else has been using another MMORPG with sub+ cash pref not WoW

Heyyyy, that's just how I feel about instant-rez scrolls. "Hey, these are PVP items...if you don't want em...don't buy em...you pay your subscription...which allows you to play the game...don't expect to get extra..." I leave off the ignorant analogies at the end, though.

Wrong. A very large number of people hate double dipping cash shops, just as a lot of thoughtless children and younger gamers, don't understand why it's bad, and actually argue in favor of paying more money for things.

You have no way of knowing what quantity of people are opposed to it. None of us do. Even EME doesn't.

lol at people who think EME as a company is made up of only 4 people. It takes weeks if not months for a company to bring things to the public, there are things like market test and financial reviews and a whole mess of other things. The same 30-50 people on the forums complaining about it, not every forum related to Tera has thousands in a out cry. So unless you want to pay them what they will get from keeping the online store, I cant see them taking it out just to please these babies.

Yes you are. You're saying that an arbitrarily chosen optional item, is acceptable to be removed from the game we're all paying for, and sold extra. But so much of this game is already "optional". So what's the difference? Other than some corporate clown decided to take advantage of gamers with obsessive spending habits and screw everyone else out of content they may enjoy.

You're arguing in favor of content, no matter how minor, being removed from the game, and sold at outrageous prices on top of a subscription fee, and box sale.

To my knowledge, when new rides come out at amusement parks, they don't set them aside and make them optional rides for extra money.

I mean is paying one fifth the price of the entire game, worth one weapon skin, that only applies to one character?

Weapon skins on XBL don't even cost this much, and that [filtered] is run by Microsoft!

At least when Blizzard decided to be Activision's private fan f***ing, money vacuum, they had the small decency to make all their cash crap account bound.

I just feel like EME doesn't see us as customers. We are cash cows, and they are milking every cent out of us. Who honestly is happy with a 50% off sale WITHIN THE FIRST FREE MONTH, not to mention these newcomers also get an exclusive Bandit face-item.

Cash shop prices have already been discussed, and I feel like those who aren't affected by the cash shop don't really care about how the community feels.

EME don't like getting called out to, this thread will be locked.

This.

General rule of thumb.. you DO NOT call out mod, devs, ect on a game forum.

If they want to respond they will.

and you're a baby who is crying to keep it in, and pay more money for extra stuff? I'm sorry, is your comment supposed to make you look smarter, or more mature than people who are trying to save you money? Of course not. You led off with the phrase "lol at".

Using the hypothetical masses that don't log onto forums, to support one side of this argument is erroneous at best. You can't corral all the absent voters and assume they all agree with you.

Hey you know what evidence DOES exist?

All but one American MMORPG with a sub+cash shop, hasn't tanked and gone free to play in matter of a couple years, if not a single year.
That game is WoW, who only applied the shop recently, because let's face it, Blizzard fans would pay Chris Metzen to kick them in the balls at this point.
