I read that some people did it in 8 hours or so. Is the best way just ignoring everything but story quests and grinding dungeons with the instance match maker? Please enlighten me!

Do the campaigns and follow quests in the area. Also some areas have really good repeatable quests to do in which you can stack up and do a massive turn in.

Its not really that hard :P. Oh and gather everything. The buffs help a lot.

i'm only level 31 atm, but leveling in general is just super fast in TERA, especially if you've played the closed beta tests. i've clocked in maybe 10 hours on my Warrior so far. what really helped though is scanning the AH/running the dungeons so you can keep your weapon updated. your weapon is definitely your most important piece of gear and things will die much slower/quicker depending on how good it is.

its different for everyone really. some feel like quest grinding is faster. If you go the questing route, make it a group, you get bonus XP if you level with a friend.

if you want to grind dungeons, pick up the repeatable and turn it in every 100 or so. You get an easy 1 1/2 levels for it. Bot I have found take an equivalent time.

however the final stretch for 32, should be group questing. As SM becomes significantly less around 29 or 30.

Not 8 hours I got 32 in like 17 1/2 hours that was with a few 30 minute breaks and sitting looking for group at SM for 40 minutes? I know was a few people that I saw that were ahead of me by 4 levels when I was 23 im guessing they knew what they were doing my group had only played beta once and only to about 26ish.

Was really easy getting ahead when you skipped the prologue and had the entire starter zone to yourself. We did it in a trio, priest, archer, and berserker I just pulled everything to the slayer and then finished off the higher hp monsters after he did his aoe burst. Straight quested and ignored BAMs.

Get to 26... do nothing but run SM until 32. x3 no point in passing up on all that candy from in there.

Mystic/Berserker Combo did Dawn->Lumbertown->Oblivion->VoT->SB->Popolion till 26->SM till 30->Mines while basically just killing anything that got in our way, stopping to kill various world bosses and bams for fun. Took us roughly 24 hours about.

At the end of like 30 hours or so, 201 in all harvest, 100leather, 150 other crafts on top of the L32.

I'm stuck at level 15 and from level 12 all I did was grind on level 11 mobs. I'm not finding any more quests on the island or in the city you fly the Pegasus to. I'm wondering if I'm glitched? Should I be going to another city?

Dont know the exact time it took me but I played with 2 mates and it seemed to be a lot quicker then solo, we did not finish SM as we couldnt beat it with 3 and there wasnt enough people around so we just quested in cutthroat and capped maybe in 16 hours.

I'm at level 29... just bumbling around with a few guildies the whole time... didn't touch Closed Beta at all, so it's a nice fresh first look at all this content. :P
