I love Tera, and I mean LOVE IT! But I to am getting worried about the dumbing down, and puttting in a WoW like LFD feature. If this continues I might make it to endgame and just cancel my sub. Hopefully by GW2, D3, Arche Age...etc might be out and maybe I can find a mmo that doesn't won't to be WoW with prettier paintings.

Same here, My roomate and I have been carefully weighing playing Tera vs D3 . From cbt1-3 we decided on Tera.

If cbt4 has the things suggested in interveiw/forums. We'd rather play D3. Theres a few things outside it that play a factor but, bop gear is the dealbreaker.

P.S. I can't express how much we don't care about elin armor models.

1. They've said making gear BoP means bosses/BAMs are GUARANTEED to drop better BoP gear (unlike now where they have a chance to not drop anything decent).

2. All BoP gear means is that you actually have to do the dungeon to get the gear.

BoP is FINE. It's worked great in WoW, SWTOR and a number of other MMOs.

WoW sucks because it's easy and boring, not because of BoP items.

The korean version has had that LFD feature for months. It isn't EME dumbing it down. Also D3 isn't a mmo, GW 2 is the closest thing to a WoW clone out of the 3 games you listed, and Arche Age doesn't even have a western publisher yet meaning at the earliest it won't be here for 1-3 years.

I just preordered this morning ( No regrets ) .. Personally I think the changes are fine i really can't see what everyone is crying about...

BoP changes are fine with me gives me a reason to actually DO dungeons and I want crafting to be meaningful.
Elin changes don't bother me cause I'm not a Pedo
No Pets , No problem never cared for them anyways I prefer a broker or AH
LFD , Why not ? .. makes it easy if your guild is at work or busy with RL I can still do stuff even if its with a pug.

its safe to assume these changes aren't the last that are going to happen either and they will probably be refined a bit , give them time.

CB3 was my first time seeing and playing this game and the combat / pvp is what sold me ..D3 is boring and GW2 is turning out too casual but GL canceling cause there is no such thing as a perfect game now days but tera is ahead of the rest for me at least.
