While waiting to get your hands on GW2? I've been really excited about Tera for over a year and in my opinion, 2012 is really all about GW2 vs Tera.. atleast from where I stand. What are your opinions of both games when put up against each other?

Personally, GW2 has never interested me at all, so unless TERA fails, I'm sticking to that.

The only other game I've really been looking at is Blade & Soul, and that's nowhere near coming out in NA. :x

Personally, GW2 has never interested me at all, so unless TERA fails, I'm sticking to that.

The only other game I've really been looking at is Blade & Soul, and that's nowhere near coming out in NA. :x


I second that opinion. I've been waiting quite patiently for TERA and will remain hopeful that it will be what I had hoped it to be. I have also looked at Blade & Soul for some time, but I'm gonna remain hopeful on TERA being an enjoyable experience.

The only reason I'd be playing GW2 is if it was the best game experience of my life. It won't be, this I can assure you, no matter how good it is. The reason for this stance is I've taken the initiative to not support NCSoft ever again, after the horrible Aion fiasco.

This includes Blade and Soul as well (which I've played on the private server and it simply didn't call me much anyway).

gw2 is too casual, the kind of game you mess around on with a friend. plus you only have to pay once so why wouldn't you get it

I've chosen TERA as the better game (well for me anyways) a long time ago. If for any reason TERA ceases to be entertaining I might give GW2 a try, but I really don't like the idea of playing a new NCsoft tainted game. In any case I'll have Totalbiscuit and other youtubers provide me with ample videos and information about GW2 so that I may make a more informed call on that game later on.

Right now however I could not give it a second thought even if I tried. TERA is laser focused in my mind right now. Only 7 days left until I can finally get my first experience of it.
