It sounds like climb down wasn't implemented in later areas of the game but regardless of that I think the point of that first quest is to cater to noobs whose first mmo might be Tera. Think about it. The NPC tells them about the scroll and to use it when they get to the top. So they climb alllllll the way up, then look down, might be saying to themselves "How the hell do I get down" and then if they had read the quest, they'll see the purpose of the scroll now...

Enough with your ninja edits and ridiculous claims. If you think climbing down is more creative than having a couple special spots you aim-jump to to avoid damage while getting down faster, then I guess we'll just have to disagree on this.

I used rocks, many others simply didn't. You really think those rocks were placed there as a special spot for jumping down?
I don't really care but i don't want new players to feel that it is unfinished.

Yes the first time is a little off-putting. But then when they go there again (or any other jump) and see someone else jump down via the rocks (or opposite ladders or w/e), there'll be an "oh wow this game is a little more complicated than I thought" moment.

If anyone reads the quest log you will notice it tells you there is a safe haven scroll in your bag, use it and you will return safely.....However I jump

You don't know how to get down? SERIOUSLY?
Alright, look. It's pretty easy.
Step 1: Obtain a Dance Floor
Step 2: Obtain a Strobe Light
Step 3: Obtain -SOUL-
Step 4: Obtain proper 'fly' gear. Bellbottoms, Butterfly Collars, Chest Hair if male, Tie Halters, and lots of Hair Spray if female.
Step 5: Obtain proper music. I strongly recommend some George Clinton.
Step 6: The proper ritual is to load up on Soul while putting on your gear. Turn on the strobe light, hit the dance floor. Let the rhythm flowwwwww through you. Put a dip in your hip, some pep in your step, and head on down to the Mothership.
Step 7: GET DOWN!
