How to tell if you are wasting everyones time

You read a forum post from korea with old notes and think "wow, i dont see a post about this, i should post this!"

You just now hear about NCsoft suing BHS or EME, and think "omg the sky is falling, i better make a post about this right away to inform everyone, gee i hope this isnt old information, i could search for it, but naaah, may as well just make a post!"

But the biggest way to know if you are wasting everyones time, is when you have a question IE "can i be attacked on a pvp server while i grind?" and instead of actually LOOKING around to easily find the 2 different OFFICIAL places on the site that gives this info, you make a post, pushing better posts off the main page and making people want to punch you in the face irl

just sayin, 100 of the 115ish pages of this forum are filled with the same questions that have been answered easily 100+ times. its obvious trolling and your acct should be ip banned because you are 12 and wasting peoples time is fun for you instead of doing your homework.

to those who have the patience to explain things over and over again to obvious trolls, props to you, but im sure it gets very annoying to moderators when they see the daily post titled "so will there be pvp AND pve servers?"

it doesnt require the search function, all info can be acquired by clicking faq, veterans guide, or simply looking thru the last few pages of the forum, EVERYTHING else is speculative.

and yeah radii, anyone who calls people out for being stupid is mad, oh wait that doesnt make sense, you must just be 12 years old

To be fair, the search function is sucky right now and posts don't get bumped properly. So unless you spend a ton of time on these forums like some of us, stuff is hard to find. I don't blame people for posting the same things a lot. It does get annoying but when the forums are fixed I'm sure it'll die down.
