Lol k.

Men saying, "I'd do her/I'd [filtered] her upside down" is very "empowering" to the female the remarks are aimed at? Not to mention Beyonce and Lady Gaga are trashy.

If and when you even get the chance to have a daughter, do you want them parading around like those performers and idolizing their slutiness? Do you really want men viewing them purely as a sexual object instead of a human being with their own strong intellect and feelings? Because the way you're defending this [filtered] is just encouraging women to have no self respect and look like a washed up tramp.

I say completely fix these outfits. If guys are really that desperate to see pixaled nudity, let them download a nude-patch on the side like they already do with games like Skyrim.

As a 28 year old male I agree. While watching a half naked elf chick swing a sword thats bigger than here body around will grab my attention it will not be positive attention. If a woman is going to parade herself around as a piece of meat then that how I will look at her, as a piece of meat.

I do not expect for the armors to be changed as this is how asian fantasy games are. But there is nothing "empowering" about the way this game shows off its females. I accept it because that is how the game is played so to speak. But to me having the game full of skinny half naked elf chicks with huge boobs and little jailbait catgirls is a turnoff and one of the few major issues I have with this game. I don't even find most of the women in this game that attractive as they are all toothpicks but that's just my personal taste.

I never understand why these people come on forums and complain about the armors.
Cover art, game videos and tons of media make it clear how the armors look. If you dont like it then dont play the game!

Same thing happened in rift. All the feminist seen the platekini's and thru massive fits on the forums.
Did they not see on the box, the site and all of ash showing her bare butt thru a shear butt cover?

For your info i have a 22 your old daughter. I encouraged her to dress femine!
I always told her to embrace her sexuality. I sure was not going to raise a closed up prude of a feminist!
Men are men and women are women imo we should celebrate the differences not try for this unisex BS!
So i ask you this do you gripe out the gals at the pool in there bikini's? Do you tell your daughter to never were those? Do you cover your sons eyes and tell him its shameful to look at a women dress like that?
If you do i feel sorry for your children!

Women are just as guilty as men, they just hide it better. And besides men have been sexualized for just as long and you don't see any man throwing a hissy fit about it. The people are vocal about the sexy women in media putting unrealistic expectations on them are just as true as it is for guys. Very few guys are pretty boys, or have washboard abs with ripply cut muscles. I just came to the conclusion that men are more comfortable with themselves then women are, who are constantly comparing themselves to each other.

i walked into a book store once and out of curiosity i walked to the mens interest section.

i saw half naked women on most of them, this made sense to me and i moved on. men know what they like.

i then saw the womans interest section, it had..... half naked woman on most of them.

men are honest with themselves, woman constantly strive for unrealistic standards but do so willingly.

but this is somehow our fault o.O

A woman can be femine without dressing and acting like a slut and showing off her body every chance she gets. Wearing a bikini at the pool is one thing. Wearing it out to the mall or a club is another. As a male all I can say is that I would show more respect towards the prude than I would the slut. Of course there is always the option of using common sense and knowing how to dress for the occasion but whatever.

If you're going to have fits over this, you should probably reconsider your preorder, otherwise one must assume it's not as big of an issue as you make it out to be since it isn't keeping you from just sitting down and enjoying the game for what it is.

That's a rather strange attitude, very prudish...

I don't see women as pieces of meat regardless of what they dress in. If you do, that's your own problem and a problem of society, not a problem of anyone who'd like to dress like that, regardless their intent.

Taking the thought to the other extreme you have some (sub)cultures that like to keep women covered almost 100% all the time. But then it suddenly becomes about how women are being kept down by the man.

On the other hand, no one, no one ever complains about a guy walking around in swimming trunks. And well, Castanic and High Elf males look rather... Sexy, don't they? But i guess that's allright because they're males? ;p

Calling women pieces of meat if they happen to wear a bikini does sound incredibly offensive to me though. I thought society was past that a long time ago.

I'm certain women appreciate knowing that you approve of them being 'prudes' just as much as you other people approve of them being 'sluts'. I'll bet many more women will sleep easier tonight knowing that a man told them it was acceptable to him, and defining whether or not a particular set of clothing is acceptably 'feminine' for his tastes.

Or perhaps they won't care what a man thinks of the way they dress, as a man's opinion of it is useless and not worthy of consideration unless his opinion is asked or desired.

Males are also hyper masculine (except for elves :-). I'm not complaining either way.

FYI: I'm female.
