I really wish GW2 had come out before TERA

So that all the idiotic GW2 fanbois could realize how overhyped their favorite game is and see that TERA is superior, or at the very least leave the rest of us alone to enjoy this game in peace.

You know, if our game really was superior we wouldn't have to rub it in their faces. Let the game do the talking for us.

Yeah, honestly, the thing I liked about GW 1 was the need to plan everything out carefully with team skill builds before leaving town. While the improvements to the combat system in GW2 are nice, in the end they're still skill spam. The issue is that there's no strategy behind the skill spam now whereas tera at least emphasizes timing of when to use skills (at least for warrior, haven't played other classes much).

It is kinda annoying that after such a long gap, three really impressive games are coming out at around the same time.

I swear the overhyping of GW2 is going to kill it, currently i have an extremely high expectation! rofl

Personally, in hindsight, I could not see how good TERA is until I played it during the non pre-ordered OBT. The various videos and reviews didn't help me fairly judge TERA (most were negative) and I think a lot of people will miss out because they've been looking at those only to gauge if they would like it or not, and I don't blame them. However, you really need to play TERA to judge it accurately. This is coming from someone who had a preconceived negative opinion on it and secretly wanted TERA to fail but it turned out better than expected, maybe that's what happens when you play a game with low expectations, sometimes you can come out pleasantly surprised!

o.O

Why would anyone ever "secretly want a game to fail?" Or non-secretly for that matter?

If you genuinely dislike a game, don't play it.

What non-sociopathic reason exists for wanting to destroy the enjoyment of others just for the sake of doing so?
