IMS should reward solo and duo players

This logic here seems completely [filtered] backwards. It discourages those that want to do dungeons solo with PUGs whether its to meet new people or if you just want to get into something fast

My suggestion would be to keep at least a small reward for those who queue up solo, possibly duo, and those that use the IMS with 3 or 4 other people shouldn not receive anything. After all, why shouldn't there be a small reward for those that attempt to put up with the potential frustrations of a PUG?

A fully organized premade can blow past some dungeons in record time to get loot, while a PUG might take the full cooldown timer and get the same loot. A reward of some sort should be in place

The reason the rewards were removed in the first place was because players were being rewarded for taking the lazy route.

Do you know that this could be a good idea if you asked for solo-duo instances, but for all of them, not just people joining LFD?

How is using the matching system considered lazy? It puts you in a group faster than if you were to use the LFG chat, but you have to complete the instance to get the rewards. Just because you use the IMS doesn't make the group lazy if they still have to down the same bosses that a premade did.

The previous IMS/LFD system incentivized players to not socialize, if anything you should be rewarded for forming your own group. This is an MMO, if you want to be left alone and solo everything there are plenty of single player RPG's out there that has better/actual story as well.

you dont need rewards to do an instance, especially more than a set group doing it

be glad you even have a ISM system

You're blowing this out of proportion now...it's kind of ....

Just because some of us don't like to make 100's of friends online doesn't make it any less of a game we'd want to play. Ijs

The LFD is a great feature whether you like it or not. However not being able to use it with 5/5 pre-made parties is a little stupid...I think we should get over it.

If they would just allow a full group to queue up and get ZERO bonus stats, but still get the minor item reward and the -50% lock out time then EVERYONE would be happy. Such a simple fix IMO.

You should not be rewarded for playing with the same 3 or 4 real life friends or guild mates all the time.
It's a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER game, you should play with a MASSIVE amount of players.
I'm glad the penalize scrubs who only play with the same people all the time, and reward people who go out and play with many others. It's an mmo, why are you afraid of socializing?
