Things don't look so good right now for the European version of Tera. With the recent decisions made by Frogster, people are canceling their preorders and raging all over the forums/Internet.

So question is, if Tera EU fails, will it have any kind of affect on the US version?
For example, can the EU version switch to a F2P model while the US remain as is?

I don't think it'd affect US version, other than increase in players? lol.

Why should it affect the us in any negative way? I mean EU and US have two different publishers.
The possibility of a f2p model lies within the contract Frogster made with the original developer of Tera.

The main difference will be that a lot of Eu players will head to the NA servers.
It will only mean that Tera NA will do better.
I think many Eu players are waiting for an answer from Frogster, which they won't get.

Along with the mods locking threads left and right yesterday doesn't look good.

But hey Frogster/Gameforge are F2P publishers, perhaps they are aiming for that.

Well the only thing that might happen is that frogster will try make a contract with ENMASSE to ban EU IPs.

So many ways around that, but meh. details~. and you know, looking at EU Tera... i dont feel quite so screw.... wait.. is this all a ploy by Enmasse to make us feel less jipped? DX. -back to feeling ripped off Q_Q-

if EU becomes F2P, NA better goes F2P aswell, or obviously everybody will abandon them

Tons of talk about people abandoning EU because its going F2P.... yet you say everyone will abandon NA over it.. you seem to seriously underestimate the population that despises F2P.
