There are a lot of good points made in the OP. I hope EmE reads very carefully, I really enjoy this game and have waited patiently for it to get here, following it and looking forward to it, However all the things that gave it the charm that attracted me are being removed, one by one.

What interests me most is how so many people cannot wrap their little minds around the Elin censorship.

Do you honestly think that they censored Elins with pedophiles in mind? Of course not. That's silly.

They censored Elins for the same reason that I would call the cops if I saw a parade of 12 year-olds waltzing down the street in bras and panties;

their biggest mistake was actually basing SO MANY changes off of people whining in BETA, the majority of the things that they changed, KTERA did not launch with, they were implemented 6months+ down the track because it was clear that those changes needed to be made based on how the game evolved

unfortunately EME listened to all the idiots complaining based off of a level capped game, thus the extremely problematic client we currently have, we've basically stepped back in time and are having to deal with what the korean's dealt with instead of having a well rounded client (that's what we were waiting for, for the past year right?)

anyway, +1 to the OP and hopefully they correct some of these ridiculous issues that didn't even need to happen

My suggestions/short version


1: Bring back the lucky eggs and just adjust the potions from them, make them drop some other random stuff.
Add some vanity items to the loot table and people have a reason to farm

2: Bring back the crafting quests, BH put them their for a reason.
You failed to understand that and broke crafting so fix it


They should add revised ones back in. The low level ones were a bad idea. They need to make the high level ones less cost effective.

3: Add the training grounds

4: Bring back the boxes of mischief

5: Adjust the loot in the 58 instances


Not really a big issue.

6: Add all templates to the game, just like on Korea


I would argue having them takes away form the game.

7:Fix crafting so the recipes drop again


Hopefully they will and they are more balanced level wise.

8: Rework the elin censor, extend the armors so they cover up and still look good.


Mind blowing waste of time.

This is a good post. En Masse is removing features to force people to resub to the game to see new content. But they have little idea that this will actually be more harmful to the game than helpful. If I hadn't have made friends in Tera, then I wouldn't be continuing my sub because of En Masse's poor management of launch content.

PS: To the poster above me, training grounds ARE NOT QOA CONTENT. They have existed in Korea months before the QoA patch. Hell, I might be mistaken, but I am pretty sure they were in the closed beta build of the game we were using.

The post does contain a few Eu issues since I play there , I was not aware the NA players also experience the lag.
It's just a bigger chance that this post will be read by the devs here then over there since Frogster is doing close to 0.


I just feel that a lot of fun/extra content has been removed for no real reason.
It didn't added anything it , instead it broke things.


We had a CBT that was well pretty fun, a lot of feedback from players that liked this game.
It would have been nice if the developers would have listened to the feedback.
There is a difference between tweaking things and just ripping it out.


I did touched lightly upon the Elin part, tbh I should have kept it out.
Just saw their new armors and the censor is really bad, I kind of expected them to do a better art work instead of copy pasting the same hotpants again.



In the end I would really like ENmasse to bring back the little things they removed.
They are just fun stuff to have in game, you're not achieving anything by removing it.


Even if you insist on removing lucky eggs and boxes just make sure you fill up the gaps.
Just don't remove things and don't put anything back.

minors! lol, you mean to tell me these pixilated characters were BORN and have not reached the age of 18 yo?

By that line of thinking, all these half naked races are minors.

Oh yeah! and btw. Elins are MUCH OLDER than they appear ^_^ (yay lore) so, your "minor" explanation makes no sense. In any way.
