Increase the lancer desertion debuff to an hour

It's really getting sickening to see constantly time and time again lancers instantly leaving a dungeon find group just because there happens to be a zerker in the party. They need a real penalty for being jerks like that, and a 15min debuff doesn't cut it. Also- I'm not a zerker, I don't play one. I'm just really tired of having my time wasted by prima donna lancers who think the world revolves around them.

As a lancer who DOESN'T kick or leave - No. That's unfair to the people who don't. The 15 minute debuff is more than enough. I'd really hate to DC and get kicked and then end up with an hour buff, because people don't like lancers.

I'm a lancer who doesn't kick/leave either, but the amount of lancer bashing and QQ on the forum makes me want to start. What could possibly make you think that any lancer in their right mind will ever queue again if we get singled out and penalized like that?

It can be made to be 15 minutes if the Lancer is kicked, and an hour if the Lancer leaves. That way if the Lancer wants to be a douche and not get an hour penalty, he's at the mercy of his party to kick him at their discretion if they believe his reasons are justified.

How is that a punishment for those who say they don't leave anyway?

Also, how can this be that big of a deal to you when we as DPS had to wait hours just to get in to that group, and you're griping over an hour penalty for rudely leaving a group?

Lancers never cease to amaze me.

I like how they are trying to make people who ask for a solution to jerk lancers out to be some sort of racist and that they deserve the power to be jerks.

The issue is, not every lancer -leaves- willingly. I get DCd, thus I get kicked, or the baby's crying, thus I leave and let them requeue instead of making the group wait thirty minutes until the kid's done wailing. Or something else that pops up, to which I'd be back before an hour.

It's unfair that lancers are leaving and being dbags intentionally, but don't kill it for the entire group of players that have one - good luck ever finding a tank if this happens.

Heres the other side that hasn't been mentioned. What if a lancer joins a TERRIBAD party(Or should I say.. TERABAD? >_>) where the healer sucks, and he/she does more dps then the actual dps? I'd heave that after some time of trying to make it work. Would I need to be punished with an hour cooldown? I think that'd be unfair.
