Hi All, I'm Loving the game (99%).
But this afternoon we Pugged threw the auto group system. It was fast and sweet , my 3 guild mates and i got right into the SM instance. After 1/3 of the run we got the lead to set loot so all might get green items :) and continued forth. At the end boss , just as the boss hit 5% lead changed lootsettings ..... all drops went to him self and the healer from the other server. Not sure mentioning names is chill but ..... Deity and Bloopbleep from Dawn Guild took all drops not sure of server. yet.
Just wondering if a loot setting lock could be implemented at the beginning of instances by the Dev team. Would clear up a lot of this type of junk .

I was in this group. Was very easy for these guys to take advantage of us during the video portion. When you look for groups, wondering if the other guys will steal or do anything malicious is not on your mind. This is the kind of thing that makes good players leave games. Dawn guild and gold spammers should be taken out of game.

This type of action should definitely be a bannable offense to keep it down. I know a guildmate of mine almost got suspended for dragging a BAM on somebody which is just simple fun really, not something I would do because its a d move, but still not nearly as bad as this.

Bumping cuz yeah dis is kinda important. I hate how retarded spam threads like herp derp theres instances in zones game is gonna die, but then stuff like this gets thrown to the side.

One of the bigger problems I see with cross server grouping is this.

While this kinda of theft can still happen within the same server, people may consider it twice before doing it as their reputation may eventualy be tainted enough that no one would party with them at end game.

Because of the cross server tool, people will feel more secure when it comes to these activities.

Certainly makes you wonder what could be done against them.

For starters, the proposal on the OP is logical: a lock option so that loot rights can never be changed once they are set for the first time, this way you can know early on when your leader is trying to steal from you.

Obviously it should not be possible to switch loot settings mid-fight. Hope it gets fixed.

It's not possible to change loot mid fight, Edge. OP said that the instance leader changed loot options during the boss summoning cinematic.

I'm not much of a PVE person so I'm not really sure about this- but surely there shouldn't be any option for the leader to set loot to a specific person right? It should be either class appropriate or a roll/need/greed system, am I right? Is there a reason to have an option that even allows a leader to take all the loot?

Sounds like they didnt do it midfight but did it during the cutscene so they wouldn't notice it.
