Instances...gonna fix it?

Love waiting an hour for an instance only for the tank to drop and then get a penalty.

Is anyone going to be left when that warrior patch lands in a couple months? Blows my mind people smart enough to make a game are stupid enough to not realize the game's many faults. Amazing job...

... designer's fault for people not leveling a vital job in a system? Or you mean designer's fault for not making the class so OP that everyone will jump on it so we have plenty of tanks?

right...they should like you know have the [filtered] foresight to see this problem happening. Dwindling player base just makes it worse. Nope total shock and awe devs never had a chance to even fathom such a thing happening. Think the game is a quick cash grab more than anything. So little thought went into anything aside from the actual combat it is actually kind of laughable.

It is 100% the Developers fault for forgetting to allow the 2nd tank class, to queue into dungeons as a tank.

In any game that has the holy trinity Tanks are always the hardest to find.

It is not an issue of foresight. You can make 30 jobs that are Tanks, but you will find that most people do not play them. Because Tank is a thankless job. They don't throw big numbers so most people don't play them. How many people do you know want to role-play a Workhorse vs a Thoroughbred? That is the difference between Tank and Damage Dealers.

This is especially true in a game that you can solo most things.

The only alternative is that everyone can tank - which makes it that people usually don't even bother to form parties.

There may be ways to strike a perfect balance, but it is not completely on the side of the Developer. It is the main problems with the Holy Trinity. Thus far no one have had a good solution to it. I doubt GW2 would be able to do it either. Only time will tell.

This is not to say that Blue Hole could not have done a better job, but I don't think it is solely their problem.

how about change the dungeons depending on if the group is running a lancer or not(gear drop changes or whatever)...that took two seconds to think of, and it wouldn't have me waiting a hour to play an instance.

Game has zero chance of making it if you wait around all day to run an instance once.

Also if lancer kicks zerk right away the lancer should get a penalty for reentry.
