I actually think it's only human to be addicted to things.

I would find you to be a liar if you said you weren't addicted to something at some time. My addiction for example is soda. I feel a need for it when I don't have it. Dumb as it is I know but I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs nor do I have an issue with people doing any or people having an addiction. I live in a world where if someone doing something doesn't affect me, why should I care?

Not replying to you to argue or anything. I'm happy to hear when people go with the "why care" approach, I'm obviously not trying to convince people who don't want to smoke that they should. I'm just sick of haters who are not only misinformed but ignorant/idiotic posting propaganda designed to turn everyone else into idiots like them. If someone is curious about the effects of Marijuana they should at least be able to find the real facts instead of all of the fake ones piled on top of them.

Also, you're addicted to soda because it has caffeine in it, which causes a physical withdrawal.

Which is odd because you would think I would be addicted to coffee, etc. as well but I'm not lol.

Some people just do not get addicted to things. I for example, smoked for 7 years, and one day someone asked me why I did it. When I couldn't give a reply, I quit cold turkey, that very second and never had the urge to do it again.

I think the biggest problem with addiction is people tell you its ok, its hard, not everyone can do it. It gives people an excuse to fail.

Other things like heroine are really hard to quit, but cig's and caffeine?

I always found it ironic that a lot of smokers i know/knew always drank Coke. Really weird too lol because I hardly ever saw a smoker drink Pepsi, etc. it was always Coke or Diet Coke lol.

I've never had to really quit an addiction. I've heard from my parents and others that exercise in general really mellows you out and such. Just flat out either running, jogging, biking, etc. takes the edge off and really gets your mind off things.

Weed is the ultimate addiction cure, no joke.

I actually don't care that people smoke weed and think it should be at least be decriminalized so we can spend less money building prisons and even turn some prisons into schools so we don't have to build anymore of those.

If it was legalized instead of decriminalized, television and radio stations would just be bombarded with PSAs about how bad the stuff is for you. The government would subsidize marijuana fields in place of cornfields so the cost of food would increase. Legal marijuana cigarettes would end up costing more than the illegal stuff so no one would buy the stuff on the shelves, especially since it is much easier to buy your own supplies to grow marijuana versus growing your own tobacco.

The NA conference that was held recently, the south american countries asked us and canada to decriminalize drugs.

If only we listened.

So since all the haters seem to have left the thread because they have a short attention span or realized they're idiots, how about we all talk about our celebration plans for Open Beta and 4/20?

I already posted mine earlier lets hear yours!
