Hello everyone.

I'd like to get your views on which should be the correct spelling of the game.

Tera: The Exiled Realms of Aborea.

The problem with this is that the "The" is included in the name but not the "of". Both are supposed to be dropped of when creating abbreviations. From the grammar standpoint the correct name for this game would be either:

ERA: The Exiled Realms of Aborea.

or...

TEROA: The Exiled Realms of Aborea.

The last one would still be incorrect in that the two words should never be included, however if the company added the T then there is within reason to add the O.

With this said I would enjoy to hear your thoughts on this.

P.S. I also know I spelled Aborea wrong. I couldn't seem to find the original word because of there being no archives. If anyone knows the correct spelling please tell me so I may correct this.

I think you include "The" when it's at the beginning of the phrase.

Arborea, likely coming from the latin base arboreus from which many latin rooted languages share a similar word.

It's basicly "a place with trees" or something with high vegetation.

As for the rest, doesn't matter, game's already ruined. Remember?

Of is never capitalized when part of the title unless it is at the beginning (Ex: Of Mice and Men). Acronyms only include the capitalized words but I'm sure there are exceptions.

On a similar note, I really wish EME would stick with TERA as the title instead of switching to Tera. Tera is a girl's name and this also leads to people calling the game Terra.

I 100% agree with you. I am simply unloading ideas to pass the time. I would rather continue looking forward with new ideas to randomly post about than to create another thread about why the jail system was axed or Elin censorship.

Better to make you say "Eh..." to this than "Sigh..." to that.
