Is anyone else concerned

That since en Masse isnt actually the developer , and we are not a f2p model, so many things like timed dyes, and the enchanting are awkward at best, that we might end up with a real lack of updates and balancing?

I may be wrong about this, but the dev team who actually created TERA originally has stuck with En Masse. Even though the dev team started the project with another company, it is still the same people producing it under En Masse.

I'm more concerned about an injunction to cease and desist. Would be very ugly. I hope we don't see this reveal its ugly head before launch.

You are wrong. En Masse is no one from blue-hole.

Blue-hole is working with En Masse to let their game go to the west, and flourish there.

BLue hole has allowed En Masse limited ability on the things they can change/alter in their game.

it works like this:

Content from BLue hole launches in korea
Blue hole sends content to En masse
En masse then take content and adds/deletes/modifys the content to suit the NA audience.
En masse then releases the content into their build of the game

Same happens in EU with frogster.

En masse is nothing more than a publisher.

Not even Korea convicted BlueHole. NCSoft doesn't have a leg to stand on. Drop it, its nothing but FUD.

No.

The timed dyes are for dyes that are purchased from my understanding. Permanent dyes can be acquired from crafters as I'm told. Whether or not that''s true I'll find out later, because I've stockpiled a bunch of materials for my alchemy.

Enchanting to me is better overall and a change I'm happy with.

Balance is something that people complain about all the time even when there is balance so that just comes down to "are you having fun?".(yes i know there are some situations that are significant under/over powered, but this is in reference to balance overall not individual cases)

Content updates we've yet to see how they do. So far we're caught up/catching up and not far behind as some claim. I'm not worried about it as I doubt I'll plow through everything by the time a new update is available.

Actually, that's not how it works, publishers manage the game, therefore they call the shots, it's up to BHS to come up with what they can. Then En Masse see how much its worth to come up with said feature, and if it's worth paying devs for it. Also many other factors, it's not just here take it, do what you can.

That being said IF it was like that, if En Masse had more programmers or knowledge to edit the game, it would be way easier to get some features. Sadly it can't work like this cause it'll need to be compatible to more content that BHS sends at them. That being said, if patches were way farther apart than the Korean counterpart, they'd be able to adapt their game to their said features.

Sadly again this is not how it works.

I'm worried that a cow in India might get mad cow disease. And since they don't eat cows there, they might try and preserve it's body somewhere instead of burying it. Then fragments of the rotting cow might get in the air and could blow into nearby China. Since China doesn't believe in preserving the environment, the large dust bowl could blow the mad cow disease clear across the country in Hong Kong. With Hong Kong being a local shipping capital, this airborne mad cow disease could go anywhere. I'm scared to death that it goes to England and then some Brazilian maid inahles it and dies. This could lead to her kids being shipped back to Brazil will they will grow up without a family, and if the little girl is cute she might get caught up in the slave trade and be shipped Columbia. There she could sabbotage a drug shipment bound for Mexico, at which point a Mexican drug lord could OD and die leaving his entire army without a commander, at which point they could kill and pillage the local community. Some people might flee this community for the United States, and immigrate illegally to work as cooks and maids. I imagine that one of them could seek karma revenge on someone they work for lacing their food with rat poison to kill the rich white devils. They might wipe out a whole family, at which point the families relatives would be very depressed, and one of them might go on a random shooting spree in a 7-11 killing everyone inside. A poor teenager might loose his parents in the killing spree and turn to a life a crime. Then one day laced up on acid driving home late at night he veers off the road and crashes into my neighbors house killing everyone inside. A fire breaks out setting their house on fire. Then my taxes go up to pay for the fire department, MAN I'M GOING TO BE PISSED!

I'm also afraid of spiders.
