Bandit mask achieves making characters look derpy. MIGHT be dyable though.

Meh... I can't say I'm gonna get upset over this. I know Amazon is selling it for half off, and I know EME has to have agreed to it to provide a bandit mask through Amazon (though, Amazon may have purchased the right to do so.)

The thing with retailers is that they purchase the copies, then they sell them for a profit to consumers. In other words, EME already has the money, Amazon is just trying to turn their purchases around and make a profit, unless there's a contractual deal that EME will buy back all unsold copies after so much time.

My local retailer sold the Ipad 3 the day it released for the factory price of $300. I heard Apple was dumbfounded the store would sell them that low, but it's no skin off their backs as they already got paid. Similar principle applies here with Amazon and TERA.

Amazon is huge. Willingly taking a profit loss for a few products won't really hurt their bottom line, it'll just encourage people to browse around and potentially buy more cool $#!%. That's why the Ipad 3 was sold for $300... it brought people into the store.

Pretty sure without permission they won't be allowed to price so low. What a good way to really [filtered] customers lol, what about the people that didn't pre order but bought in between this time period? I understand discounts, but not less than 30 days since the "official launch date" unless the game's doomed to fail.

If your talking about amazon, that edition does not get the weapon skins nor the reduced subscription pricing. So in the end you save money. Plus that mask looks like garbage

Anyone getting angry over this is just getting angry over the fact they had to pay more for their game. It's like buying anything from the Wal-mart only to find out two weeks later your $20 purchase is now on sale for $7.99. Retailers don't give customers a lot of advanced warning unless the sale is intended to be huge, and that's typically only for holidays like Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.

Retail is a cold, merciless b***h.

Me: "Excuse me, I read over at TERA Junkies that those who bought the game prior to release, would get this bandit mask for free through digital and physical releases."

Amazon Employee: "Ummm you're not a loyal customer, you're not qualified to get this service, we work with EME to provide these special sale events, but seeing as you're not a regular customer to Amazon you are unable to get this service."

Me: "So, you're saying I could've just waited instead of bought off EME's site if I had some sort of foresight into these sale events, got the CE 50% of it's original price, and got extra stuff with the frost lion mount and other things and not have buyers remorse for spending $80 on a sub par product?"

Amazon Employee: "Pretty much, I'm sorry you feel as though your money is wasted, but if it makes you feel better you can get $10 credit"
