Wow, that's some crazy jitter! and the packet loss failed? Is your java acting up? Guessing that the star to say they can't confirm the grade because of the inability to work with sun microsystems.

219, I am guessing you are in Brisbane because you are 400 miles closer then me and I get about 25ms to Brisbane. Optus dsl yes?

This issue has forced me to cancel my purchase of TerA. "kthxbye" would be the usual response i'm expecting from people who don't suffer from this disadvantage.

I have the best possible residential cable connection (with bigpond) available to Australians but it makes no difference to the gameplay.

I love TerA, it's a beautiful game but EME need to release servers to better suit people outside of America.

@Yanoflies - i know you will cancel soon , GL with whatever game you choose next and lets hope Australians don't get shafted like we usually do.


So I should also go tell Korean TERA to do something to suit the players outside of Korea also?

Sorry but last I looked EnMass was running NA servers only...... but is open to the public. The only other thing they can do is add server on the other side that they dont have servers yet but they wont be opening server any closer to you since they dont have the license for this and are only able to host servers in NA

And we chose Chicago, again after extensive research, because it is a major peering hub that's near the "center of population" of the United States and Canada


I had a search and I couldn't find anything about licensing restricting them to North America only the reason Chicago was selected. The quote I listed above, which was already posted on page 1.

Can you find the licensing that restricts them to North America? or your source etc...

Rofl at Jemila getting shut down here by other people posting thier ping tests.....licensing has nothing to do with it, it just means they don't have to cater to us because if they licensed it here, we could sue them for a faulty product due to the latency being so high, meaning we are not getting what we pay for, fair traders consumers and all that.

Try living in Sydney Jemila, you will see a difference of about 40 - 50 ms, hence why people can get between 180 - 240ms where you can't.

Again, just touching base to tell the other Aussie players to look up lowerping and smoothping. Both help.

Also those who haven't, make sure to reg edit your nagles algorithium to disable it, google it for more info. It helps alot, especially when playing games in todays era.

Everyone I know is sitting around the 180 - 220 mark on the East coast of Australia. So in all seriousness, while there is still lag here, it is nothing like you claim it to be and nothing new to us that we haven't experiened in the past 20 years.


I asked you to prove this beyond a "everyone I know"

7 pages I am still waiting for you to prove it.


Best so far has been another guy with 219 and 5ms of variance from Sydney on cable.

Come man.... 7 pages of you trying to repair your bruised internet ego. Move on already. Give it a few weeks and no one will even remember how much of a [filtered] you look throughout the entire thread.

He is getting 219 from Brisbane, you live 400 miles further away, I am assuming up near Mckay or possibly further, and you are calling me an idoit because my guildies and the rest of us can achieve between 180 - 240 from Sydney/Melbourne. Do you even know where the lines exit Australia from on the East Coast?

You truely are a special person as people have pointed out already.
