Like, say I select a party member nearby, I think it would be neat to see my characters head turn to look that direction, could be the same for selected mobs, or gather sites. Anyone else think that's a good idea or a bad idea?
I mean its not a big change, but an aesthetic one that I think would add a little something "extra" to the game.
Its one of those things that are small additions that no one would care about if it was gone... that takes probably so much coding its ridiculous...
So yeah it'd be cool to have but it probably takes too long to edit into the game I'd think.
Either way, I know F2P games that have it in their games, it def. adds to the whole "another world" experience.
Go try Mabinogi for a bit. Whenever any character- PC, NPC, enemy, pet- talks all characters nearby look over to them assuming they can see the talker. It's a neat little thing that adds to the immersion but when an afk character does it it just seems weird.
[filtered] that, I don't like ppl knowing when I am inspecting them.
Nobody likes a Rubber Necker.
Skyrim was like this.... creepy horses looking at me as I walked by *shudder*
FFXIV did that, it was kinda neat, but I don't really miss it.
BAMs actually do this when you're fighting them if you pay attention.
