I've done 2 dungeons so far.. are they all like this..

And when i say like this. i'm saying bland narrow hallways with monsters in them that you must kill every last one of so that the final boss doesn't pull everything in the dungeon towards your group for an instant wipe.

the BAM's are nice. but that's ALL that's nice.. where's the cool set pieces where's the awesome level design.. i can design a dungeon right here in the post watch.

boom there you go that's what every dungeon looks like. its kinda ridiculous actually since the rest of the game looks so good. Tell me this isn't it? i've only done the first 2 dungeons so far.

Later dungeons are different, but some of them are still kob mobs on the way to boss, kill boss. Skygarden has an interesting dungeon design.

That's what a dungeon is defined as? Not all instances are bland narrow hallways but when you say dungeon then yeah it's going to be tunnels of enemies with an occasional boss.

Are you sure you've done two dungeons? Because out of all the dungeons I've run so far (up to Sigil Adstringo), only BoL has a mechanic even similar to this, and even then you only have to clear the mobs in the rooms surrounding the boss room.

And no, they're not all bland, narrow hallways. Cultist's Refuge is easily one of the most visually impressive dungeons that I've been to in any game.

i'm ok with hallways if you disguise them and make them look different.

lol between the first and second dungeons that you do. the only difference is there's a ladder in the second one. /facepalm

yeah i've done BOL and then the Mansion one.

i still have an open mind but i really thought the level design would kick it up a few hundred notches after BOL. i was wrong going into the second dungeon. but from what people are saying it gets better.

You know, it's rather amazing that a manor has hallways. Or a cave has, uh, cave-ways.

You've done two dungeons, not every dungeon in the game. Yes, some dungeons are glorified hallways, some are much better than that.

Aren't all dungeons pretty much glorified hallways? I mean, it has to be linear to some extent. They can change the way the area looks, make it seem more "open", but you're going to be going down a set path regardless.
