I've had enough of the RNG now you won't let me quit?

Today was the last straw. I've spent tens of thousands, thrown golds by the handful (17 or more) at my T13 weapon trying to bring it to +8 meanwhile people next to me are bringing theirs to +9 on blues with one or more tries. I'm not a gambler, it doesn't appeal to me, watching my time get sucked into a slot machine again and again is not something I enjoy while others reap instant rewards.

I've always had bad luck, it's why I don't gamble, I REFUSE to play a game that punishes me, despite success in a game play environment. I just can't stand it as MUCH as i LOVE Tera's game play.

With this comment would you PLEASE let me quit, you won't let me cancel my subscription:


I want to add that your game play is WONDERFUL, it's what I've been looking for in an MMO forever, the live action element was just so tastefully refreshing. I'm just sorry, I'm not a gambler.

TO everyone else I send you my blessings and hope you enjoy gambling more than I can, it's been a real blast to play with the poeple of Tera that enjoyed the combat system, despite its flaws, as much as I did. I'll be following Tera still to see if they resolve any of these issues in a future expansion.

They won't gimme my monies either. This game is garbage to use a polite term and just begs you to waste hours of your time then laughs as it takes those hours in mere seconds and leaves you with less than you had to start with. Oh and guess what now you can PVP for vanarch. If pvping for vanarch doesn't make you stay what will?

No, the game is GREAT! If you enjoy gambling it's even more so. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gameplay, I could play my warrior all day, but getting smacked in the face repeatedly for having bad luck sucks dry and semblance of joy I had for this game. (Elation really while playing LOVE Bam soloing) Not trying to troll, just waiting for this issue to be resolved so I know i won't be rebilled.

It sounds like you're pretty burned out, man. Take a break. When you come back try having fun instead of desperately trying to reach the 'goal'.

BTW issues with the website can usually be resolved quickly by using the live chat, no one here on the forums can help you with that.

If a person doesn't like a game mechanic isn't that ok? Everyone is entitled to an opinion, right?

I applaud putting your money where your mouth is and quitting over something that sucks rather than putting up with it.

I prefer gameplay where rewards are earned too, myself. Random elements too often dilute your effort.

You dont NEED to enchant, Its a personal Choice. Tired of enchanting, then stop... your at level cap. its not like you cant jus tpick it up later. and lets say you hold out till they add more content and a higher lvl cap. then you can just enchant at the new max level.

Take it nice and easy. nothing to be speedy about. you reached the finish line

RNG over the past month has been about the NUMBER ONE complaint and it's frankly burning out players and boring them to death.

Wake up En Masse, SELL the +9 or better +13 so that people can stop grinding and actually get to organizing real PvP instead spending all day grinding for enchant fodder.

RNG is ruining this game at end game lvl 60.

Let the hard core vocal minority QQ ....whaaaaaaaah you are pay to 2 win.

Who's gonna know if your weapon is bought or you grinded it? It's an OPTION. You don't want to pay. No problem dont. Grind till your eyes bleed.

At the end of the day En Masse is in the business of MAKING MONEY...and whether you believe it or not they are sitting on a gold mine of sustained revenue if / when they implement this.

When En Masse wakes up and adds this as a premium service I can't wait for all the RNG lovers to rage quit...it'll give the game a free 2 for 1 by removing the hardcore vocal minority who infest these forums and the game and clean up the community.

GRINDING =/= fun and it's costing you sales En Masse.
