Even though I'm pretty sure an inactive/obt/buddy account owns this name I'll give it a shot.

Since EME refuses to help in any shape or form. LF the person who owns or knows the person who own the name Agrona on the Valley of Titans server. It's a level 2 human warrior on the Island of Dawn. If you have this name or know the person that does please post here or Whisper me/send me a mail on my main Sanovah. at this point with the frustration EME has given me I'm willing to pay for it

how is a character name breach of privacy? I even told them to give the guy mine. EME just has the most [filtered] retarded policy I've ever seen regarding name reservations.

They didn't wipe OBT and headstart buddy code accounts so there are a [filtered] ton of names that are techically taken but not being used. And since they refuse to release names/ ahve no plans to do an inactive wipe the only way to get a name is to find/whisper the person who owns the name and get them to delete it. The only problem with that is if they get on it and are playing it's not inactive. So there's essentially no way to get a name in this game.

I added this character to my friends list since I was able to get back on the server and it hasn't logged in once So that means it's more than likely like 95% chance that its either from OBT or headstart

Just because they give the guy your name doesn't mean it changes anything. I wouldn't want any company giving out my character information to someone I didn't know just because they sent in a request.

"and get them to delete it" What makes you think they want to do delete it? Kinda sounds like harassment lol

They made the character first it's their name. EME shouldn't step in on this one and I don't know of a company that would. So you've cyber stalked them and know they haven't been playing that char, but its a possibility they made the char just to reserve the name until they get done with a main or something.

I'd be much more disturbed if EME deleted the character or ''contacted'' the person for you. I wouldn't want a game company emailing me saying ''someone wants your name so could you hop on the game and delete the char? Kthanx.'' Just not professional.

So every random person that heard about this game and made a character during OBT will forever have his name reserved even though he'll probably never ever play this game. it's been almost a month since OBT when this character was more than likely created. In that month it's stayed at level 2. I want to know why a name someone made during the let everyone in test who isn't paying for or playing this game gets to keep it over me a paying customer

No they will put it up for renaming and release the name. Blizzard has the same policy but I am pretty sure you have to cyber/send nudes to which ever GM you talk to because they rarely do it. It's a special case when they do. You didn't get the ugly name, stop crying. Try Agrona.Bertha

There are plenty of game companies that step in when a character has been inactive for a long time. WoW is the front runner of that list. If a character has been inactive for a extended period of time(the time frame changes base don level apparently) they'll free it up for your use. If the owner is actually active and is just saving it then no I wouldn't want to take it, but in just under a month that character hasen't been logged into once or leveled at all. Which means either its inactive or the account it. Why should i just get to go hoard every name i want, never play them, and expect the company to keep them for me incase i ever decide i might think about playing it someday. And there's also the fact that EME DIDN'T DELETE ANY CHARACTER MADE DURING THE OPEN BETA that means that every character made by every random person is still technically in use.
