Disband party should be server only. Voting should be allowed without the leader initiating.

/sign

voting should be required for kicking players too.

While I haven't had this personally happen to me I knew that it would be used for griefing at some point, however there is also the problem of certain classes being kicked out of groups when using the LFD tool.

The LFD needs a bit of a revamp imo.

1. Removal of the the Disband Party option to prevent griefing
2. Allowance for the leader to be kicked by majority vote (this will prevent the entitlement Lancers from kicking Zerks just because they don't want to share gear.
3. The ability for Warriors to queue as tanks (pretty sure this has already happened or is coming shortly)

There are probably more that could be added in but those are the 3 main issues that I have with the LFD in it's current form.

Surprised we haven't gotten any trolls posting:

"Don't suck and I won't disband you newbs."

That being said, wow that features sucks!

in addition to these things, if we could have a way of setting a block on people from other servers so that we're not grouped with them again, it would be spiffy. Nothing better than actually punishing people for being toads.

Removing disband from being available in instance matching would be perfect. They also need to make it so that you can't kick anybody 5 minutes into the instance. That way, the archer can at least prove himself and show the ignorant [filtered]s that we're not a bad class.

I'd just like to add one more., a 15-20 min time interval where a kick cannot be instigated once a group is formed with the LFD tool. After attempting to do three BT queues last night and getting kicked as soon as I zone in (Item level is at 144, level 60 weapon from Fane, green crystals, scrolls, nostro energy potion even..), I wasted about three hours that could've been spent doing something else.

Certainly this would be a crutch for those times where a player is actually deserving of a kick, but at least this feature would either force players to leave on their own (thus getting a LFD debuff), waist their time, or actually advance in the dungeon long enough for most of it to be complete before passing judgement on someone.

P.S. It's not always feasible to have a full or nearly full guild group going all the time. I run with my guild when possible.

Anyways.

The only problem that could occur with the interval before initiating a kick is if you get a complete d-bag who either goes afk knowing you can't kick him, or believes he is the tank and repeatedly wipes the group. Without being able to kick, you're stuck with this person, and I've a feeling the tank/heals will go "F this" and leave instead of waiting, which leaves the dps stuck with another long queue.

It's a fine fence to sit on.

Yeh Disband party is nothing but trouble. There is no reason for one person to be able to force the other four people out of the party. Each person can decide on their own when they need to leave and do not need someone else doing it for them. This can really mess things up. An example would be the other day was doing a dungeon, good group, got all the way through the dungeon, then while talking to the quest complete person for the storyline , the leader disbanded the party which made me have to do the dungeon all over again. I know they didn't do it on purpose and I'm sure it was a mistake but if the option wasn't there to begin with, things like that wouldn't happen.

That's always a possiblity. I'd rather see the tank and healer leave, honestly, as it isnt' so bad to get another tank or healer in the dungeon once you're there. Seriously, it's a waste of time to queue for a dungeon like I did for three time in a row to be booted for no reason. I'd gladly stay in the dungeon waiting for another member than queue for another hour or more with a chance of being booted yet again.

I'd concede tolowering the time interval to 10 minutes. Most of the first bosses encountered (at least in normal modes...even some in hard modes) can be completed in 10 minutes even if somone is afk so long as it's not a healer or tank (but a group won't complete anything regardless if those two are afk).

Hey, if you got patience, you're a better person than I am. I start doing /dance about five minutes into waiting.

Ahem.

If the tank/heals does leave, though, and the derpy I-think-I'm-secretly-a-tank or afk guy is still there, you do run into the possibility of the next one coming in, seeing the situation, and going "LOLleave". Though I imagine at that point enough time would have past to initiate a kick.

I think the interval is a good idea, don't get me wrong; I'm just fussing about past experiences I've had with derptastic people with my stint in WoW.

I really should take my own advice and just tab out or get up or something during these wait times...
