Lame character creation options

Hello everyone, I just started playing tera and frankly, I'm disappointed w/ character creation. Being an indian player I would have liked to create a human with a darker skin tone. Sadly, the darkest skin tone I ended up with for my character looked like a southeast asian...

Did anyone else get kind of peeved at this? I usually always play human in mmos. I may be forced to play aman now (baraka=no pants, no thanks)

we can't wear pants if we want to, and we can left your friends behind, and if your friends wear pants than their no friends of mine.

anyway it would be nice to have a better color palette to choose from for skin tones.

Don't be discouraged OP, all first posts must be troll-posts. It's a rule.

Anyway, TERA has some great options, but isn't too keen on the word "customization".
For instance: You want to be a human? You have to be on steroids.
Like your current hairstyle? Too bad. Your favourite Armor forces it to change. Etc.

The game is based solely around combat and loosely around lore.
Options are diverse, customization is sub-par for a triple A.
The game just released so a lot of it is subject to change.

How is that a troll post? Expecting reality of any sort, whether it is skin or hair color, in a FANTASY VIDEO GAME is ridiculous. Had the OP just said, "I wish there were more options," rather than, "I wish there were more options so I can create character that reflect an ethnic population that doesn't even exist in this world," I wouldn't have said anything.

Pretty much. The character customization selection is horrible since they are very basic. Too many people look alike in the game (hence why we need more head gear).

They are supposed to be "human". "Humans" are not just white and SE-Asian. They're not called Norn, or something, sort-of human. When you call a race "human", that raises certain expectations.

Because the humans in Tera are humans from planet Earth?

Pretty sure we humans here on Earth weren't created by Gidd, whoever he/she/it is.
