When the adds come out it's like he goes immune to taunt, blined to our sorcerer and killed her. Not to mention the adds roll and hit like a truck, what's the correct strat for this fight? do we need to have range aoe the adds down and he'll stop being immune to taunt?

That's why you drag the boss to the earlier room with those saw guys and not have to deal with adds.

Ebon is right, kill all the saw looking mobs in the hallways before you enter the last room and bring the boss there. When he starts running away to summon his minions, just let him do his thing. Don't go after him, he will return to fight. This way you dont ever have to deal with the adds.

Well, yes, pulling him into the back room is a quick way to do it. However, I've done it twice at level without doing that. Have DPS burn down the adds, striking them when they are not rolling around and less protected. Then get back to the fight. Helps if tank pulls the boss away from the adds as well. That's how it was intended to be done. It can be done just fine without pulling him into the room.

Imo going back to the previous room shouldnt be an option... Some gate should close or something. Its way too easy like it is now.

As syberchip said, the adds are easy as long as you're not completely newb. Attack one at a time. Time your attacks so you hit when it's not rolling and dodge or block the roll.

If you have a good lancer the lancer can just leash the boss whenever he tries to spawn adds. If you leash him as he's walking towards the center to spawn adds it'll cancel it. It's easier to time when he's going to do it by turning on enrage timers. When you see the angry red face the lancer should be getting to leash the boss because he's going to be running towards the center of the map soon to spawn adds.

^what holy exile said. You can also have someone sleep the boss as it runs to the center. This'll prevent it from spawn adds as well.
