Contrary to what you may believe, Lefties have their place in society. If not for Lefties, who else would we have given swirlies to as young mischievous children? If not for Lefties, who else would have done our homework assignments for us while we used that saved time to pursue more enjoyable passtimes? If not for Lefties, who else would have walked down hallways, oblivious to the signs placed upon their backs?

We must not belittle the contributions lefty freaks have made to our society : )

Yeah, the opposite hemisphere of the brain is used with regards to handedness, but people used to think the left/right brain specialties were actually left/right brain exclusivities. So they've dispelled that art and spatial awareness are solely contained in the right part of your brain, and that math and relateds are all in the left part.

But there's still a distinct natural preference for which side develops the bulk of the functionality with regards to these skills.

All this talk of left handedness is getting rather sinister.
