I dislike how a term was around before wow. Yet because it was used in wow somehow it is a wow exclusive term and no one should use it. Dungeon, NPC, DPS, raid, Instance, loot, griefing, gank, pvp, pve where also all used in WoW. Shall we stop using all those terms as well?

You seem to have missed the point where WOW IS THE ONLY MMORPG EVERYTHING ELSE IS TRASH AND/OR A CLONE.

I vote to call our characters Buttcracks and insert the word in many funny ironic sentences!

"So I logged on my buttcrack today and totally leveled it up!"

No, because those terms are pretty much universal, and, you know, not retarded?

Just because this game has slightly more realistic textures than your average videogame doesn't make it any more real than a game like WoW. It's not just Elins and Popiori, really. Have you ever taken a good look at the physique of male humans? Their shoulders are bigger than their heads! Dude! It's stylized. Stylized is more closer to a cartoon than it is to realism.

So screw you dudes, I'mma keep saying TOON, yo.

To be honest I think toon perfectly fits the characters in the game still. The characters aren't realistic AT ALL. This is a highly stylized game as far as character designs go. Rift is a game where the characters are actually more realistic looking.

I agree. I also don't understand the bile people have towards the game. I played it before "Burning Crusade" and left shortly after it was released. No hard feelings or the need to smash my head against objects from rage simply at its name. It was fun, then it wasn't. I moved on...

I apologize if the word "toon" upsets you but I have been using it for as long as I can remember and I will continue to.

dunno why its such a bad term it has nothing to do with graphics its just more pleasant to type than character.

I've used the term toon since UO , I never played wow so I can't say how often it was used there but i'm not gonna stop using it just cause someone doesn't like it.
