Level penalties on dungeon drops

Can anyone with a reliable source tell me if high level actually affects drop rate from bosses in dungeons according to the EVO 2 patch? e.g. Does a lvl 28, 29, 30, 31, etc have different drop rates in SM (Senestal Manor a lvl 26 dungeon)? No speculations please, preferably someone that played KTera that has info from developers would be preferred.
Cheers

I can confirm that there is a penalty and it's pretty drastic. I am pretty sure someone did a post with the #'s but I'm to lazy to look it up.

I know in K-Tera & NA Beta if someone is 5 or more levels above you it really cut into XP & drop rates. And it can get to the point that you get about 1 XP per kill if they are really higher then you.

You don't have to be a Ktera player. If you've played the betas you know it effects the drop rates the higher you go. I think 6 levels is the highest you can be over entry level to a dungeon, at that point you are lucky to get blue out of any boss. Prolly get gold and bombs.

There is loot suppression of items.

I don't have hard numbers other than this one. If you are 20 levels above the mob, it won't drop any loot. Nothing, zilch, zip. Not even 1 gold

Having tested myself, I can tell you also that gold drops are also drastically reduced for higher level characters. To the point that being about 5 level above a given mobs yields about 10 times less gold.

In other words, do not expect anything from content lower than your level.

The only problem with this is really that you can finish dungeon content before you even got your rewards.

Which is why I think all games should run point systems. Do dungeon 20 times, get 1 item, or whatever else ridiculous rules you want to add, just as long as items are guaranteed over time.

I solo'd SB at level 32 and 33 with my warrior, after having skipped it at level, and both times I got 2 greens from Rocky, and 2 blues from the Vulcan. A fair number of hides, runes and white/green items dropped along the way. But yeah, money drops were reduced to almost nothing.

I also healed a group of at-level guildies on my level 31 priest, and I'm *pretty sure* some blues dropped from Vulcan.

I assume you are complaining about the loot from CR? or just bad drop rates in general?

Well seeing as both of these issues were fixed (in the patch directly after the one we were playing on) they greatly increased drop rates of items in dungeons.

Honestly, with BoP being the new rule, this needs to be adjusted :/
(Unless low Lv gear can be used effectively for enchanting max level gear, which I'd assume it can't be.)
