Leveling Speed, questing, instance que

Talking to quite a few guildies, we find that the leveling speed is a little to fast. For these reasons.

You level so fast you can completely pass over zones. Which is sad because EVERY ZONE is really unquie and beautiful, and you miss the exploration. I think the leveling speed that was in CBT was alot better then it is now... i saw alot more of Tera Online then i did this time threw.

Leveling is so fast you can completely pass over areas and even miss campaigns. You can get to lv32 in a DAY!

Questing is alot more organized now and less all over the place. The thing is, sense you level so fast, you have dont have to do every quest. First issue is, it would hurt to decrease the experience gain by like 10-20%? But at the same time i think it may slow down quite a bit after lv33...

... i know americans are fully into this PVP stuff but korean games are also about the artwork, and this game is retarded beautifully made. And you level so fast you pass so many things like no one even knows about the BAMs in Howling Vale? I completely passed over quests South and North of Chebika. Then it sucks because, if you out level the quests too... they become disabled. You cant even do them for the money.

Instance Que, I think that the exp gain in dungeons is a bit high and i was mostly disappointed that you dont NEED to go into Secret Base for the campaign. Majority people i talked to about that it was better needing to go in there for the story line then what it is now.

Like, i know every fool who hasnt played is gunna say "Oh its just another korean grind" which it never was to begin with. They worked to remove that negative view and they over did it by making it WAY MORE then easy to level. Just hoping it wont be like this from lv33-60, because i like the quests making me need to explore. You get to see the nice artwork and such put into the game that creates Tera. And to spend a while in the zone to level. When i was probably in chebika leveling probably for like not even 1 hour max to level 1 level because the zones prior and dungeons before chibeka got me high enough to go cutthroat harbor.

Leveling Speed is TO FAST!

Agreed, I think leveling is too fast, if you are a completionist you end up a few levels ahead of content in your 20s.

I think it is fine. Simple at that.

I kind of agree that leveling is a bit fast.

I haven't done any of the dungeons, because my internet is being a jerk and disconnecting for no reason at random intervals, and that's bad when you're healing, but that aside, my guess is that if you do a few dungeon runs between quests, you add on all that extra experience as well as the quests in the dungeons, and you'll outrun the content level of your regular quests pretty quickly indeed...

With the level caps in place that prevent you from doing quests below your level, including repeatables, that really sucks. You'll end up not experiencing various zones and fun quests or mobs.
Granted, you could roll another toon and branch off a different route while leveling to see everything, but why should you have to do that? What if I'm happy with the class I've picked and I don't really want to dealing with leveling another character? Guess I'm SOL. That's not fair, or a very logical idea, in my opinion.

Thing is, times are changing too, and Games arnt just WHO is better when it comes to MMORPGs, but its also a piece of art work! People spend there time making a beautiful world for others to interact in and you saying its fine damns it because all you care about is getting high off the feeling of being better then another in PVP or PVE.

I don't think you're really thinking about what you're saying. You're just reacting based on your own personal experiences.

Reasons why leveling is not too fast:

1. I will level more then one character. The first time its fun, the second time, not so much.

2. When I do level a second time, I would like to maybe do a different zone. I can do this, because the leveling lets me.

3. There may be a couple of quests I really HATE to do. Perhaps when I am leveling later in the game's lifespan, there will not be enough people to do the BAM quests. It would be nice to skip those and still be able to level properly.

4. There's nothing to stop you from being a completionist. Go for it. But stop trying to force everyone else to be a completionist as well. If you want us non-completionist people to respect your completionist self, please give us the ability to skip a few quests here and there, so you can brag you did it all while so many others did not.

I agree with the leveling is pretty fast. I would prefer it would take longer but ya know what? if anything, its going to get easier. There are people that are still going to complain that "it takes too long" blah blah blah. Just have to accept it i guess..

This is TOO easy mode, and its gunna promote laziness. I think its not okay they change it to much for westerners because the game was already pritty western from the beginning.

I think it could do with a drop of like 15% between 1-33. I know someone said something before about taking a different path while leveling alts, thing is you can still do that even if they drop it by about 15%. There's literally such an overabundance of quests I think you could probably get like 5 chars worth of variety path wise if you consider a different order/going to a different camp variety anyway. I mean I'm fine with either way but slowing it down a bit would be a welcomed change.
