The lvl 56 Dracoloths are a joke... That fly around BS they keep doing, keeps resetting them... If the fight moves just a bit out of the center of their spawn and they start that fly around thing they'll just end up resetting themselves... =_=...

Petition to change aggro based on time not engaged in combat over distance?

I had thought that would happen when they did their aerial assault, it never happened to my parties, but, good to know I was right?

You were lucky then... 3 attempts and all 3 times it reset itself... after the first time I try to make sure he doesn't run off too far when he does that charge, but blah! blah I say!

Dracoloths are not a problem at all! I solo'd a ton of them by mistake when I thought there was an achievement for it and never experienced a reset.

Wait until you see the Direpaw Mandrills in Balder's Refuge. Now THOSE have a god damn TWO FOOT reset range, like, dear god.

Yeah, all I do is solo BAMs, but never experience something reset so much due to a stupid mechanic... I think this time, I'm simply not going to chase it when it does the charge and let it come back to me...

The Dracoloths he is talking about are part of an solo achievement, part of the meta for Solo-Boss Conqueror.

In all my time fighting them, alone, mind you, I had never had one reset while doing it's aerial attacks. Actually the only time I had one reset was when one repeated the running dive attack, since then I learned to just let it run off, stay in the same spot and let it run back instead of chasing after.

Well by comparison, Dracoloths move around a lot. Just be conscious of where you picked him up and change direction during the fight every once in awhile to keep him circling around that spot.

This, you shouldnt be chasing them when they go running off charging, let them come back to you and remember where the spawn point was and try not to stray too far from it.

By worst you mean best because they are so challenging and I want to own them solo, then yes, you are correct! :D

Worst BAMs are fangspawns because they have a mentally retarded hitbox and teleportation issues.
