That is exactly what this needed. I really enjoyed it and it shows people some cool things to come.....

I love how it introduced BAM's at the very start with AI bots to help you beat them :) I think that will help some people get into TERA a bit more.

Actually, I wasn't all that impressed with it. I thought they could have made it more epic. First impressions are everything.

It was a bit overwhelming at 1st having all of these abilities. Fighting the BAM was pretty cool but again, I was just mashing abilities like crazy without much rhyme or reason.

I will say this, once the prologue was over and I first ported in on the island at level 1, I was in awe of the graphics and gameplay. Reeled me right in immediately.

Plus, there were lots of people talking.

They need to add some music and more voice acting. Spice things up!

Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible first impression of a game, would scare the hell out of anyone who isn't a veteran player.

It's better than the original Isle of Dawn intro which I thought just hucked you in without much of a sense of purpose (and continued to snowball downward from there, story-wise). That gap is now filled, but it feels unfinished, particularly with the abrupt end and lack of voice acting. Don't get me wrong, I do think they're taking it in the right direction. They just need to go a little further with it.

Lack of voice acting? It's finished off by Tigh, for chrissakes!

I just wish they'd better explained how that character gets turned into your real character (or doesn't). As it is, it doesn't make a lot of sense story wise.

I guess that to me, playing since CBT1,,, it always felt bland and empty in the starter zone ,,, the new prologue shows more of what the game has to offer at level 20 where again, to me, the game picks up......I get that new people would be confused but most people that play this game have been following it and will appreciate this
