Any plans to offer Tera on the Mac platform?

I'd say the chances of that happening are like 1 in a million. Unfortunately Blizzard is the only game company that sees the value of the Mac platform.

It sucks having to dual boot an inferior OS (Windows) just to play a game but it's the reality for now.

And lets not forget World of Warcraft has 10.3 million subscribers so In my opinion and Blizzard concurs, having a MMO on a Mac platform would be beneficial.

CPP supports an EVE client on Mac too. It runs under Lion just fine.

>Having a fraction of the market
>Only alive because monopoly laws prevent microsoft from burying them
>Having a fraction of software
>Out-performed by pc's with a fraction of the price

and OSX is superior?

#include <stdio>
void main(void)
{
If (PC > Apple)
{
printf("waaa im an analpained idiot that thought buying a decorative piece something would get my laid.\n");

}

}

Warhammer Online also had a mac client too.

I think what is important to realize is that most of the games that do have mac clients did not release with it initially. There may be no plans for it currently as to get other things out the way first and then perhaps after getting settled in ad having some breathing room there will be plans for a mac client.

I would love for Mac users to play with us without having to use bootcamp or other means, but for now I would prefer that the current version first be made stable, the company gets financially settled, and high priority items are all knocked out the way. Bare in mind that EME is taking on the hefty task of making the game a bit more western and from what I understand we haven't seen all of what their doing so let them do this and then once most if not all of it is done ask again for a Mac client.

I play on MBP 17 (2011)

You think it would run better on an optomized mac os version than right now on bootcamp?

I get 20-30 fps on max in beta

those frame rates are just barely playable, and keep in mind that is with the low rez textures. Hopefully EME will go about making such textures to be toggled on or off. If they don't enjoy playing tera at low settings at a reduced resolution. How much Vram does the GPU in your mac have, 512? I would also reckon that you probably bought the lower end MBP.
