Make TERA a truly SKILL based (not a Gear / Enchanting based) game

Enchanting and refining gear won't change that it's a skill-based game; the outcome of fights will still depend on how you play offensively and defensively. All that changes is the number of hits you can take by not playing skillfully - that's where RNG comes and bites you on the [filtered].

Oh no? +12 Armor and Weapons won't make you hit harder then someone without, and not control the outcome of the fight at least 80% of the time?

Can't Wait till you have a Zerker come up to you and one shot you with a +12 weapon, and see what you think about this game and skill then....

Funny thing is he may even be able to do that one shot with Thunder Strike, without even charging it, just clicking the skill once and having it go off instantly. (The not charging part is probably a total exaggeration, but I won't doubt they can do it with that ability, especially if charged fully)

Oh the tears of QQ on the forums after that! What a funny delight that will be!

can't be worse than your tears of QQ all over this thread, and lol if you think you can 1shot someone that easy by just 'tapping' a zerk's charge skill

perhaps if you're so worried about this game, as you think it's too hard to obtain enchanted gear etc, go play something easier?

So I'm guessing your a Asian / Eastern MMO Fan?

I only blindly guess this due to your ignorance in thinking Grinding & Things that take a very long time for no good reason = Hard / Challenging / and Skillful and anything else = Easy.

You realize that if they tried new things and thought out of the box so to speak they could think of other, better solutions to these types of things.

Like for example actually making things Harder / more Challenging / and require more Skill to obtain and complete without having to make it obnoxiously Grindy and Overly Time consuming with all the [filtered] RNG for no other reason than to keep you paying your monthly fee.

When it is not FUN at all!

Huge retarded gear power gaps don't lend themselves to creating good, skillfull, competitive PvP at all. Sorry to break it to you. This is the same broken mindset trap of every other MMO out there, and its wrong.

The gear treadmill needs to be killed!

you may find this extremely hard to believe, but NOT EVERYONE is playing TERA for the PVP, what would you have people do on PVE servers that enjoy going after gear and maxing out their gear? they'd hit cap and have nothing to do and then quit

I've been playing KTERA the last ~10months so I know how gear is to obtain, how about you? have you had any first hand experience in this? or are you basing your assumptions off of [filtered] you've read online?

and no I'm not an asian MMO fan, I'm a 'good' MMO fan, I like games based on their quality not their country of origin

I'd actually argue against this time sinks aren't bad but if there needs to be more you want a true end game its players.
MMO's by their nature are social games and instead of focusing on that most MMO's try to hold onto a sinking ship by increasing the time sinks/grind fest whatever you want to call it >_>
if I want to play for gear or whatnot just for myself I might as well play Skyrim (I do play it btw) but I play my MMO's for the world and in that regard the players.

From what I have gathered alot of the community is fed up with the westernization changes all you people coming in here and trying to remove features from the game. Alot of us have been waiting for a very long time for this game and all you kronies come in here and try to accomodate it to yourself. I've seen more bad then any good recently and just keep seeing things removed from the game when they should of just been left alone.

You disgust me, you and your terrible thread. Stop trying to change our [filtered] game and gtfo and go play Guild Wars 2 and stay there. You won't be missed. People will QQ about the game no matter what happens.

Why the [filtered] can't we move forward and stop making these threads about trying to ruin our game.
