Make the Instance Matching instance cooldown the same as the manual instance cooldown

There is a 4 man guild group that is kicking healers by asking for lead (if they don't have it) and then removing healers from the group until they get their guild healer for a lower instance cooldown. I would like to suggest that EME consider implementing a change to instance cooldowns so that they are either all half or all full to discourage this kind of time-wasting behavior.

I thought IMS already made you have 1/2 the CD of manual grouping...wasn't that the main perk of PUGing through IMS?

Basically, here is how it works.

Guild group (that I won't name here due to name and shame rules) queues up with tank and 3 dps.

Guild healer queues seperately.

Tank and dps kick all healers they get until they get guild healer so all of them get the 1/2 cooldown you describe.

Any healer in their way gets to sit in queue again.

OP wants it so either IMS doesnt cut instance cooldown in half, or Non-IMS cooldowns are cut in half to match what IMS would put it to.

Sounds fair to me.

Exactly. There is no reason to reward the use of a convenience, especially when it is causing premade groups to exploit the system and waste the time of others. That's my point.

Ah, I misunderstood then.

Ignore my first post.

I think the IMS system as the way it is currently implemented is a great social studies tool.
EME could probably make money of the statistics it could generate.

Haha, yea, I know right?

I only wish I could point out the guild responsible, but I'm not here to break the rules.

I think naming the server they're on doesn't break the rules and encouraging reporting the players for harassment via the in-game reporting system is still a valid solution (as far as forums talk goes).

I have reported them in a ticket, but I can't mention the server. I can offer this, though. I encourage any solo queuing healers to check leader whether you know anything or not, and not pass it to anyone for any reason. This will counteract their little scheme and will reduce the chance that you can be kicked for no good reason.
