Farm the mobs that give hunt rep for gold and rep both, so you're progressing on two fronts.

ive tried this and while the rep is nice, the gold isnt very good :-/ you do get an ocaisonal drop so its better than sitting in town, but still.
the best i could see would be getting a group together and farming BAMs. but that requires a group :(

You could also farm lower level gold gear from instances and sell it on the broker and ride the alt wave that is going on right now.

You can also supposedly farm lower level dungeons for things to sell, but I haven't tried so idk how profitable it is with the nerfed droprates due to your level.

searching for items manually is probably about as slow as farming normal mobs. don't act like it's so great.
