hi, i notice that mystic and sorcerers have a "bug" on teleport.. then they cast the Teleport Jaunt they back 2 the same place... thats something 2 fix and very important for both classes.
I agree. That bug killed me and my other Mystic/Sorc friends when we need it most. -_-
Yeah it's becoming an issue for me. There's a 40% chance that my teleport will fail. And no, there are no objects in the pathway, I obviously make sure of that. Sometimes it fails even on a completely plain terrain devoid of any bumps on the ground.
Teleport Jaunt is becoming so unreliable that I'm not using it anymore for emergencies.
Not an issue for me. I'm a mystic and it's fine.
My sorc gets this on the odd occasion. The path finding for teleport seems to be finicky.
It sure is useful for travel, though. Horse -> Teleport -> Horse -> Repeat on CD.
same issue at times.. or I get hung up on like a small bump or something from the start point and the teleport is rendered useless.
I understand there's an issue with collision detection or something with teleport but reall they need to fix it so there isn't. Even if something is in the way we should pop up at the least on the other side of it, I mean we're teleporting, not physically traveling forward. Being able to vertical teleport would be nice too.
Also I have similar issues with flaming barrage sometimes,, when I initiate the spell I'll notice I get knocked back a bit, almost like I've been lagging and the server hasn't been keeping track of my actual position and the spell corrects it or something.
I have a sorc, and this started happening to me at some point. I find it weird, because it worked just fine for a long time. Then one day it just. Did not actually teleport. I'm not even on a high-pop server (Frost Reach), so server lag sounds odd. Alternatively, it could be crappy ping on my side (as I'm located in the EU), but then my US friends shouldn't comment "You just teleported to the same place again."? >>;
Either way, it happens constantly, no matter where I am: plains, mountains, town. I'm wondering if a patch broke it somewhere, because it worked fine at game launch.
Also experience this bug often. I believe it has something to do with high latency so not everyone will experience it to the same extent, however i found that it doesn't fail if i stand still before teleporting so i'll usually stop moving half a second before i use it. Not ideal i know, the bug has been the cause of my death a number of times now.
It's probably too much to hope that it will get fixed unless the korean version has already done so, but it doesn't hurt to dream right?
