Do you find it pretty easy to HOLD down one of the hex(left side) buttons while aiming? It seems great, like most macro mice, to click the buttons, but what about holding them down, as in charge skills?
Holding down a button and aiming at the same time can be tricky on certain mice. Since you push those hex buttons with your thumb, I don't think it will be too difficult to aim at the same time, but just wanted to get some owner's feedback.
I would bind charge skills to keys, not mouse buttons. Keep mouse buttons for instant attacks. I use a Logitech G500 that has 3 side buttons, and that's how I play.
Im an owner of one. Best mouse i ever owned. Buttons are chunky enough to quickly feel and very sensitive.
As far as using the buttons for charging skills, id suggest against it. Like you pointed out, your thumb is going to put just enough resistance on the side to mess up your movement. Even though you dont need to put hard pressure on them, in the heat of things you will.
I reserve the keys for jumping, autorunning and alt, ctrl, shift modifiers
i have a mouse and keyboard with macros keys too, 4 on mouse, 6 on keyboard.
it also has an option of having multiple setups for those, so really i have..
4x3 = 12 extra keys on my mouse
6x4 24 extra keys on my keyboard
which i can program to do anything i want, even combo attacks perfectly times down to the last mili second.
I have both the Naga and the Naga Hex. Used the Naga in CBT, curious if the Hex wouldn't be better for this game. Has anyone tried out both?
