System performance: Tera is FAR better then GW2 in this department. The thing that boggles my mind is that Tera looks 100x better then GW2, but GW2 runs 100x worse then Tera on the same computer hardware. How is it possible that an ugly game can run worse then a beautiful game?!?! Seriously... what the hell is up with that.
TERA runs on UE3, it's very efficient for what it does.
But graphically it lacks in many area's as the engine is very dated.

GW2 isn't yet optimized for load sharing b/w CPU/GPU, Leuthor. Thats why it doesn't help to lower the video settings. Optimization is just as important as having a good video card to increase framerates. For example, why was the graphically superior Halo 2 able to run just as smooth as Halo 1 on the same hardware (original xbox). The answer: Optimization of the software
Professional; from what I've seen in TERA the UE3 is anything but lacking lol. However old the Unreal name brand is,...I'm sure Bluehole optimized the latest builds with all the bleeding edge graphical features available to devs today. (ie ambient occulsion, terrain collision ect) are all part of TERA.

TERA is only a DX9 game, it's missing tons of features for what UE3 is capable of.
