I think some people are missing the point, so let me clarify.

I can't speak for everyone, but personally, if they only made those attacks do less damage I wouldn't be too bothered. However, making the bosses easier AND making them drop T13 is just a slap in the face.

Previously you could only get T13 gear from hard modes, now you can get T13 from a boss that's even easier than normal used to be.

Before:
Normal Mode - T12
Hard Mode - T13

After:
Easy Mode - T13
Hard Mode - T13

See why some people are pissed? Lowering the difficulty AND giving loot that drops from hard mode just makes no sense at all.

t13 loot is likely going to be 13 enchanting fodder, ie non enigmatics.

Now running normal modes gives you the chance at some t13 enchant fodder.

  • In Fane of Kaprima, the attack power of Kaprima’s whirlwind slash after its scythe attack has been reduced by approximately 20%, and it no longer casts a bleeding debuff. Egrecia now has approximately 20% fewer HP, and the sphere damage of nearby devan mercenary priests has been reduced by about 30%.

    These changes have already been live in Ktera for over a month now.. And if I can find the link there were a few other nerfs that we did not get yet..

    The only two instances in the game we run for gear really, they aren't hard to begin with and they've made them easier.

    To me, personally, because I came here for more of a challenge and to actively pay attention when fighting things, it's a big deal.

    Nerfing Kaprima's spin by 20% and removing the DoT is a huge deal.

    Nerfing the fireball event during Lancer is a big deal.

    Those 2 things made the encounters on HM "challenging". Remove those and the content is ridiculously easy.
