New Patch? Where are our block/evade class fixes?

Maybe I've grown cynical somewhere along the line from 1-60, but are any of you lancers/warriors/ other dps wondering where our class hot fixes are? I mean you would think that before making warriors tanks(which i support, our lfg community needs it to stay subbed, seriously..) and bringing the nexus in, that they might have fixed these issues with delayed/bugged blocking/rolling/dashing skills...

I mean seriously why bring more content when classes are somewhat broken as is?? Heres a scenario to make my point, which some of you may or may not have experienced: Im a lancer at endgame, in a hardmode, got all my crystals ect ect, and im fighting a boss that can 3 shot me if it hits me with even basic attacks( mind you im talking about a virgin 60 tank here). So i hit some skills in between blocks and when i go to split second raise my shield, i hit my block button, for it to look like its down, but i get smashed to ground and get taken to 20% after the follow up atatck while getting up.

Has happened a good amount of times for me to say really?!? Before any of you flamers start asking did you have mana? Did you give it one second to reset? Were you in the right position? I know how it was tanking before the patch and after ok? Please assume and give me the benefit of 60 lvls of tanking>.> I know how to tank, ever since last patch there seems to be what I can only describe as server inconsistant lag, MANY ppl have experienced this on wars with roll and slayers and zerkers with they're dash as well, its not just me, or all of those peoples pc's right after patch. This makes tanking especially even more annoying, I mean i didnt roll a tanker to be able to block 80% of the time.

To this day, maybe i haven't seen it, but I've not once seen the Devs comment on if this is a known issue, if they're even going to fix it, and instead just churn out more content to raid/party for. It would be amazing to bump this with your personal accounts if you have also experienced this matter. Trolls/hate posts will be ignored( I know you need your infamy and attention, but go elsewhere for it please). Thanks and have a good one.

I don't quite understand why there are no hotfixes for this either, but my understanding is that En Masse behaves accordingly to how Bluehole Studios does. I've read that the tank changes would come in Part 2 of the Queen A patch, which I have no idea when it's due for.

I have had zero issues with blocking on my +9 lancer and zero dodge issues on my 50 slayer. It's obviously not a server side thing.

As a slayer, dodging is really all I have going for me. I've noticed, just as soon as I use the dodge skill, all hit boxes are negated until half a second towards the end of the animation, and I'm pretty much invulnerable until that point.

The only issue I have with dashing is that it auto-targets an enemy if its within a meter of your person. When I'm trying to run away and facing the complete opposite direction, this can bite me in the butt.

So, for me, I don't have a problem with the hit detection specifically. My connection is pretty good, and that may be why I've never experience any issues.

You're missing his point here. The block definitely does experience those issues and theres multiple threads full of people all agreeing. His level or what he's attempting isn't the focus.

If you had cared to read more carefully, it was a hypothetical, I've had it happen to friends of mine on they're tanks. Maybe your common sense is broken, it was a scenario to put across the point of the block working is so very vital to a lancer in that scenario, whether it be a hardmode or they're first run in any dungeon. Thank you for your colorful if not misinformed remarks tho, I love free bumps.

Edit: Let me clarify for those of you who want to flame

This is NOT a qq thread about the game/bosses/fights being too hard. This is about skill mechanics, not player based skill, I would hop ei have the benefit of the doubt that i do know how to right click at the right times.... seriously.

The issue is that people expect to be able to right click and have block instantly work. If you are casting some skills, it won't work and if you MASH your right click, it won't work (since your toon gets stuck in the "shield up, shield down" animation). The issue is people pounding the button and not pressing and holding like they should. It's player skill, not game function.

I'm sure this happens some of the time, but I can guarantee that the block will active instantly (even while doing the basic attack) some of the time. That's where I feel the issue is. If it never worked, we would all accept that the block had a delay. But when it works perfectly sometimes, and not at all others, it definitely feels like there's some shenanigans afoot.
