New Prologue Zone: We want to teach people about the lore behind the Island of Dawn (and throw them into some action), so we created an entirely new tutorial zone that serves as the precursor to the current Island of Dawn experience.

I really hope this crap can be skipped for those of us who have played enough, I could careless about the lore or a stupid tutorial of "how to play". If I wanted to know the lore, I can just go read some of their ebook.

I think the word tutorial doesn't do the addition justice, we will have more details later.

It would be interesting to see some hard data on exactly how many people care about "lore." I find it incredibly difficult to believe it's above 1-2%. (Care enough to... say... read every quest dialogue during head start/launch week)

Give EME a break; we have zero info on it so far. I think it's a good idea, but we'll see how the implementation goes.

First impressions to a game are critical. Some want to see combat, some story, some visuals.

We wanted to improve our first impression and think we have done so in all areas.

I care about lore. I find lore is what brings a world together and gives me a reason to play. But then, I'm not a hack and slash, rush to end game and wonder why I just did that, and whine there is nothing to do now.

And some BAMs earlier than 20?

Oh I hope so... :)

You're right on the money, Knoxxer. One of the biggest issue experienced in the closed betas is that people don't get to experience the truly fun and exciting combat that occurs 5 hours + into the game. Get this done right and we'll probably see a lot more rep for the game.

i WISH MORE PEOPLE WERE LIKE YOU, the game would be more enjoyable if people were like that.

My only REAL gripe with the CBT was that it took a bit too long to bring people face to face with a REAL BAM.

20 is far too late for that.
