As with the book there's no new animations at all. Still spins like a disc and the enchanting aura is still circular.

Its sad that this was such poorly implemented. If you watch the video you will notice that in NA-Tera the bear is placed at a crooked angle on the back of the popori. This is the same across all races. Which in turn causes some somewhat significant clipping on certain race/gender combinations.

The weapon skin is so poorly implemented versus what was advertised on the KTera site.

As you can see in that picture, the bear sits straight up and down on the back like one of those cuddly school girl backpacks.

The GM i contacted said it was a "bug" and they would pass it on. I want a refund. If the skin is bugged, then someone official needs to come out on the forums and say "oh bad, we will get this fixed asap" and then actually fix it. EME I did not shell out 10$ for a skin that clips into my character and does not sit on my back the way it was mean to.

Same deal with the book, which sits crooked on the back. It looks awful to have the bear spinning around you in a vertical orientation, only to have it 'pop' onto your back smaller and at an angle.

Also, unlike the book which spins in your hands while casting flaming barrage, flaming breath or any other lock-on skills, the bear sits flat on your back. You can see me trying to get it to spin a few times in the video before realizing it won't work

My biggest complaint is the enchantment aura. The bear isn't a disc, and I can't imagine this would be overly difficult to implement

Exactly. I am happy with the way the Bear works. I am sad to see that the NA Tera team has not implemented the item correctly. The Bear is just plain ugly and in my mind it is unusable.

Unlike Wintergreen I had no beliefs that they would fix the "disc" like enchantment aura for the item. I did however believe that the bear would be properly implemented.

The bear is static along with the golden-weapon sorc dragon discs.

Both are stiff like rocks lol

Pic 1 is at it's furthest point physically away from the body.

Pic 2 is when it compresses into the body it's deepest.



Basically, they need to re-orient the thing so it's:

1) straight up and down

2) angled appropriately based on the curve of the race's back

3) separated from the body by a few inches so it's not constantly clipping into the body.

Also the ktera link is an excellent example of how it should look with regards to the up/down instead of at a 45 degree angle.

As you can see it goes from a smooth animation at one angle, to a very harsh SNAP to the angle people are complaining about.

IMO this supports the assertion that it's a bug/glitch.
