I just read news on MMornpg.com and they saying we can buy other player gametime through chrnonoscrolls with upcoming update , but im not so sure about hows it work. Heres the link http://www.mmorpg.com/showVideo.cfm/videoId/2494
The way it works is Player A buys a chronoscroll for $15, then Player A logs on and sells the chronoscroll to Player B for 9000g. Player B uses scrolls and gets a month off their subscription, Player A gets to legally buy gold basically from En Masse to throw/waste at enchanting.

thats interesting, i like that idea ,legal and dont have to buy gold from gold sellers
Yeah, its not a bad idea, that is if endgame wasn't complete gold sink, and gold didn't equal power

This is the exact same system EVE Online uses. I wish they would borrow more ideas from CCP.

don't compare EVE online to tera. you buy permanent advantages in tera while this is by far not the same in EVE. also EVE being one giant single cluster where everyone plays in the same universe with markets accessible to every single eve player, things work out much differently than they will in TERA. expect seeing slightly less populated servers taking a huge nosedive in player numbers and massive rerolls to high population servers, just so people will be able to buy a chronoscroll.

Anyone know how how the Chrono Scroll will sell for? It is really 9,000 Gold? That is quite a lot considering it is only $15. Can we start selling the Chrono Scroll on Auction House?
I see a couple problem with this already. Gold farmers will start dominate the market with Chronos scroll, buying all Chrono Scroll and raising the price to their liking.
It would make it officially ok to buy Gold legally. The economy gonna be really bad because Gold don't worth much anymore.

They may sell for 1000 or even 50,000 gold. The community will make the price. The main point with Chronoscrolls is to get rid of gold sellers. Gold farmers sell gold for real world money, If players can legally buy it with no problems, they wont make any money and just leave.
If a gold farmer would raise the price of chronoscrolls, it would just ruin their business.

There will still be a gold farmer of the sorts, it's just gonna be En Masse instead of an outside company. It'll still work like a gold farmer just without spam (except their will probably be advertisements on launcher to buy them), and it still supplies an unfair advantage to certain players. Right now the Endgame is enchanting, enchanting equals gold, so gold will be attained in two ways, grinding or buying from En Masse. Essentially Endgame will be able to buy your way through it, due to the current enchanting system and the enigmatic BoE drops
